This safe seems very sturdy and secure. I can't speak to how fireproof it is, but it was fairly easy to set up and it definitely gives me some ease of mind that my valuables are safe while I'm away. The safe easily fits my letter sized documents with enough room for plenty of other items.The only difficult part about setting it up was figuring out how to open the key area which was basically step 1 of setup. There weren't any good instructions or videos on how to do this so I'm including a photo in my review to show how to open it. You just need to press very firmly on the bottom portion of the key area to open the plastic cover. After that, setup is a breeze!

This is exactly what I have needed. It is 3X the size as my old one but takes up the same amount of floor space. Nice looking and very functional. The directions on how to open the safe for the first time and to program the safe were spot on. A child could do it. I like the options of using the shelves or not using them and I love the hidden compartment in the bottom. Overall, I have no complaints and nothing but praise. I highly recommend it.

Having to compartments makes it easy to have stuff easy to access for different groups. Good for families that require different level of access to different compartments

It is heavy looks like it would withstand some fire. I live in an area where firefighters would be on scene fairly fast, and am comfortable keeping things in this safe. Easy set up. If you live rural sure splurge on something much more pricy (or keep tons of really flammable stuff around it--which seems like a strange thing to do, but hey to each their own). As a firefighter for 18 years, I sorta know what safes do what under fire conditions, and this balanced my need for fire protection as well as price. Came with a fire bag, and if I really wanted more protection, I could waterproof items inside and place a little drywall around whatever it is, even fiberglass. Light inside is amazing, and way better built than my prior safe which cost almost as much years ago.

I found this safe super easy to program and set up. I wouldn't trust it to protect high monetary valued items, but it works well as a protection of legal papers, spare keys, etc. I do like the back up, plug in battery system as a safety precaution in case the batteries controlling the combination lock unexpectedly drain.UPDATE - On October 24, 2023, the safes batteries became drained. I attempted to use the item that plugs into it for when this happens, and guess what? It did not work. After multiple attempts, I've now given up and will have to bust it open by force. Therefore, I highly recommend that no one buys this item. It obviously has a flaw that causes the safe to change the combination without you knowing. Considering the back up system has worked just fine before and I know the combination by heart, it's not me being an idiot. The safe is flawed and in this case, it's an emergency for me to access the contents. I'll never buy a safe again that can't be accessed with a key. Purchasing this was a huge mistake!

Great product for the money and not to big or small. I compared quite a few before going with this one. Love it for storing my hand guns and ammunition. Plenty of space.

This is a nice sturdy safe. It holds quite a bit. Great for jewelry, guns, cash, etc. would recommend. The only downside is the instructions are a little hard to understand but once I figured it out, it was easy to program.

I bought this safe to replace an old combination code style one that was too difficult to use. This is safe seems incredibly sturdy and was easy to bolt into place. It even came with a fireproof documents back which was unexpected but useful. I have no complaints and I like the two option entry (key or code). Much more user friendly. It also has more than enough space for my needs!
