This is hands down my favorite bookbag I’ve ever owned. I do quick work trips and this is perfect to pack a go bag in and not have to check a bag! Highly recommend

Good, but materials are not what they used to be
I bought this to hold a MacBook Pro 15", sunglasses, id, travel necessities, sweatshirt, etc. It's pretty good for all this, but my expectations were high based on my old Thule backpack and I was somewhat disappointed. Here's why:1) Most everywhere the material feels like a downgrade from the rugged cloth of my prior backpack. (The exception being the bottom of my old backback which was a vinyl that tore through.2) The handle on the top is smaller, not padded at all, and less comfortable to hold.3) The sunglass protection area was a great concept - a key reason I bought this - but it is very hard to access (it doesn't unzip well), so you are jamming your sunglasses in and once inside they bounce around. :(4) The zippers do not open very far on the left side, making it slightly harder to get items in or out. You get used to this.5) What used to be metal zippers are not plastic.6) Shoulder straps and back padding are greatly reduced from prior models. Not a huge deal for work use.Neutral: laptop holder does not have a top flap to lock it down. Maybe doesn't matter.What I really wanted was better material, metal zippers all the way, more inner pockets for holding chargers and cables, and a better sunglass holder that was easily accessible with some elastic pocket to hold them tight and an adjacent area to hold other basics (wallet, lip balm, eye drops, air pods type of thing).That said, I am not sure the perfect backpack is out there, so I am keeping it.

Not as spacious as it seems.
Make sure you really know what you are going to use this backpack for as it isn't as spacious as one might think. The quality is amazing but the way the compartments are setup aren't optimal for the use I needed, which was the gym. I ended up reselling it.
