History buffs will enjoy
Review of: History Heroes: A Race In Time - History Board Game for Kids, Adults, Game Night - Family Friendly Party Game About History - Fun & Educational Conversation GameThis is a good game if you have history-loving (make that obsessed) kids but not so great if they are easily bored. There were quite a few “characters” who we had never heard of (and even after Googling were still rather obscure in the scheme of things) and, as such, it was easy to loose focus – no-one likes a game that feels “impossible”. However, if you are a buff and/or want to learn then playing this could make you indispensable in the history round of the local pub quiz!I suspect the audience is limited, but for those who do like it it will be a winner!ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FOR FREE VIA THE AMAZON "VINE" PROGRAMME, I VALUE MY INTEGRITY SO ALWAYS GIVE HONEST, UNBIASED OPINIONS.FOR ME:A 4* PRODUCT IS GOOD - It does everything it says it should.A 5* PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT – It does everything it should and MORE or PARTICULARLY WELL or is EXCELLENT VALUELOWER STAR RATINGS ARE GIVEN WHERE THERE IS A FLAW, A DESCRIPTION IS MISLEADING or THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE WHICH WILL BE CLEARLY STATED.

Interesting game
We have only played this a couple of times so far , but find it really good , definitely think it needs to be 8 + as advertised as there is a lot to read on the cards , but its good fun and interesting , I get educated myself every time I play it about historical facts , really like this and you get to learn "stuff" tooWould recommend

more educational than fun
Move around the board by guessing famous people from history, given clues to their identity.Kids weren't interested after a couple of rounds. They hadn't heard of most of the people. There seems to be a few expansions for it, but my lot are more about celebs and YouTubers than scientists and inventors. It's a very niche game. Well designed, but not for us. Perhaps better suited to GCSE History class?

Great Idea For The History Classroom.
This is a great idea for a game to help young people (and adults!) learn about history, by guessing the identities of historical figures via clues provided on cards as you make your way around the board. It is well-designed and presented, and adaptable using one of two different modes of play. Many of the figures are well known, making guessing (for adults, at least) relatively easy. However, there are a lot of fairly obscure historical figures that no-one in our group (one of whom was a teacher) could guess from the clues, and in fact didn't even know when the answer was read out!Guessing clues about Winston Churchill is one thing, but trying to identify Livia Drusilla is quite another...This is, of course, a great way to learn about people that perhaps are not taught about in schools, but sadly we found that players were losing interest in playing the more characters they didn't recognise.I think this game would be a superb teaching tool in history classrooms, but for playing with young people who can more easily recognise 'I'm A Celebrity...' camp-mates than members of The Beatles, it may unfortunately have quite limited appeal.
