Roughly how long does a game take to play with 4 players?

It depends on how interested you get in the game - we have had some really good discussions with the grandchildren about the histories unfurling. Probably should allow 30-40 minutes. Enjoy - we have had many good games with it - it's not just a one-off and left to gather dust - it's frequently chosen by them.

Do you think teenagers would enjoy playing this as a family game or is it too young for them?

I brought this and have been playing with my granddaughter who is 10yrs. The questions are very varied, funny and we often said ‘ I didn’t know that’ . A fun game but older teenagers might get bored after a couple of games.

The rat pieces are the counters. What are the six, coloured plastic pieces for please?

I think they are just extra playing pieces
