Hive Thermostat Stand - Chrome, 1.0 cm*9.8 cm*9.5 cm

Simple device which fits into the Hive thermostat in a stable and sturdy manner which turns the thermostat into a stylish object which can sit in any room. It is heavy to provide stability and I think overall it provides value for money as we have now had this for several years.

If I’m honest, I didn’t expect to buy this and write a 5 star review. I expected a flimsy hollow plastic product, that I was paying over the odds for, because it was simply an official product. I was definitely wrong in that assumption, and there are several reasons why.The item came, and the box felt heavier than I expected, excited to get it set up on my windowsill I opened up the box it came in to find a surprisingly lovely quality inner box, much like the kind of thing you’d expect from a rather expensive technology company we all know for the brilliantly perfect boxes they’re contained in.Pulling the item out, it had a very nice weight to it, more of the product was metal than I’d expected it to be, and the clip that holds the Hive in place is very sturdy and I wouldn’t feel that it would fall off with a little shaking, not that I’d try it.Possibly my only gripe, if I had to be picky would be the metal surround is very easy to get fingerprint marks on it, and for a product all about style, you can’t help but on housework duties to give it a wipe down. That being said, however, how often do you really need to touch the surround?Overall a surprising - although expensive accessory for the product - elegant product. It has a nice weight to it with a nice gripped rubber bottom so it’s unlikely to get knocked and end up on the floor. Perhaps it’s a little too likely to get fingerprints and they can sometimes be difficult to remove. My biggest pro with the product though is the shear quality of everything, even down to the packaging you buy it in. If you don’t mind paying for the quality, it’s definitely the product for you.

This product is so simple to fit to your hive thermostat it just replaces the battery cover on the back.The surprising thing for me was the weight of this, i was expecting a hollow base but it is solid and weighted. This helps the thermostat stay stood up and not fall over.I would recommend this stand if you are moving your hive thermostat around the house.

premium product - designed for the thermostat . Looks good, has good 'weight' to it. Nice design. is probably more expensive than it should be - but there you go. Hive design for Hive product was never going to be peanuts. sure there are other products out there that do the same job for less - but this certainly feels and look quality, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this a good 6 years ago, and it's held my Hive thermostat ever since.Can't really fault it, it's got a good solid base with a decent amount of weight, and looks good with it's metal chrome base - which complements the thermostat's front face.A bit pricey, but does the job well.

Although this item is very expensive for what it is, after owning this for 3.5 years and for how useful it has been, I do not regret the purchase.This stand gives you the ability to move the thermostat to whichever area you wish to monitor the temperature. The stand is angled for a better viewing angle, and the chrome keeps it remaining stylish.As seen by the images, I'm one for keeping the protective film on items, however even this has lasted the 3.5 years, its still like the day we bought it.In terms of install it is very simple, you remove the back of the thermostat and it simply replaces the original back part, giving a secure mounting. There is a small tab, as shown, to remove the thermostat from the stand which makes for easy battery replacement.The stand is nice and weighty with a rubber base to ensure it does not move when the thermostat is being use.I would definitely recommend this product.

Heavy and solid stand , so not easy to knock over and the thermostat can be used without out the need to pick it up
