Medihoney Antibacterial Wound Gel 10g

Great product for wound healing. Helped heal small wounds very quickly after gallbladder removal and more recently, large surgical wound had a slight infection and opening and this healed and closed it completely in matter of days. Recommended by surgery nurse and does not disappoint.Only requires a small amount and covered with a post-op plaster and leave for a few days.Previous reviews say not much in the tube but it is to be used sparingly and the tube recloses easily if you press down & click on the snap off lid.Excellent product, would not hesitate to recommend and would always have a tube at home. Great value.

Recommended by lactation consultant and this combined with jellonet patches saved me and helped me heal at the start of my feeding journey.Normal honey is not safe for babies but apparently this is and my dd had no issues.I can highly recommend.

Small amount of ointment for the money, BUT it did the trick when other well known over the counter medications failed. That merits 5 STARS even although there is only a small amount in the tube.The tube is made from a plastic that not soft enough to squeeze easily. ( I used smooth jaw pliers).

The ointment is very thick and sticky and therefore doesn't spread easily over the skin. The first time I applied it, I ended up using over half of the tube for area less than palm size. For the second time, I wasn't able to squeeze out the remaining ointment as it was stuck to the walls of the tube. So it lasted one day. It might be good if the area you're treating is coin size.

Yes, it is honey, but not a runny consistency.Like a manuka honey, bio-grade & not overly expensive for what it is.We used it very successfully on the creases of a boxer dog in an area that had been "scratched to heck" ..bloody & raw.It was piped into place & got to work, so whilst there is scarring the bacteria was quashed & the hole sealed ...note that we were using this in conjunction with other items & pills, however it did work well over a very short timescale.Not a "magic pill" this should be used in combination with antibiotics if the infection is heavy (we did) ..however it was until then a long term wound that was simply getting worse until we used this as part of the treatment.Simple & effective ...potentially

I have used this on cuts mainly and it works great. It’s really sticky so I usually put a plaster over. Helps my skin to heal. People here say it doesn’t come with cap and it’s not true- you just need to turnover the cap after opening and use it again. That’s how it works.

Read reviews before purchase some stated not much product in the tube , I didn’t find that , the content is sticky and thick but is soothing and certainly does the trick . Used it on an infected toe and it’s helped to clearIt up
