This is a good quality coconut oil. I use coconut oil for cooking and frying, because it has a high smoke point and therefore can be quite forgiving if you put some on the stove and then walk away and forget about it for a bit (don't try this at home). It has a slight pleasant sweetness to it but is flavor neutral.Also, it leaves my hair looking shiny, like I have just used a really expensive shampoo/conditioner. I have pretty dry hair so I can leave it on all day without my hair looking greasy. My partner just puts the oil and then washes it out after a bit and gets similarly smooth, shiny looking hair.This coconut oil is highly versatile. I highly recommend it.

Although they say it's a great moisturizer. However, for cooking this oil has an awesome mild coconut scent. I like to cook with olive, avocado, and coconut oils. Cooking with coconut oil is actually controversial because it's high in saturated fats. But I feel as long as you don't overdo it, this is great. I absolutely love the way it makes my food taste. And no, it doesn't make my food taste like coconut but gives it a unique flavor that is hard to describe and it's yummy.

The world of coconut oil can get a bit confusing but this has the key things needed to be good for cooking! I choose not to use this on my hair as I have decently greasy prone hair but due to the quality and texture of the oil I assume it would do wonders! Ours was a liquid when it arrived due to the heat outside, it did take a few days to reharden but there were no issues as a result. Great taste and smell. We use this a lot to add to our dipping chocolates for chocolate covered strawberries and such to make the chocolate smoother! But great for actual cooking too. Big jug so happy with that too!!

This coconut oil has a wide variety of different uses, but I personally like to the virgin coconut oil for my body in place of lotion.
