Clean ingredients for toddler
I love that I have a snack close to how I would homemake something for him. Easy to grab on the go. My toddler never refuses these either.

Not much goo inside; a little dry and tough; not much banana flavor; still tastes decent enough
These bars look to be an alternative to Nutrigrain bars. Each bar is about 83% the size of a Nutrigrain bar. Presumably, the idea is that these would be a healthier alternative; however, that’s not really clearcut. Per ounce, these have slightly more calories (though a bar of this has slightly fewer calories than a full Nutrigrain bar, but remember, these bars are only 83% the size), and these have more fat and more saturated fat than Nutrigrain bars even without comparing them ounce to ounce. These have a little less sodium regardless of how you compare, but they have fewer carbs and fewer grams of sugar regardless of how you compare. They also have more fiber and more protein. They have significantly less calcium, less iron, and a little more potassium. No other nutrients are mentioned. Nutrigrain bars state that they also contain 10% of the daily value for each of the following: Vitamin A, Thiamin, Roboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, and Zinc. It may be the case that these bars have some of those things as well and maybe other things, but they are not mentioned on the label, so maybe not. These are gluten free and contain no wheat, whereas the Nutrigrain bars contain enriched wheat flour. As far as major allergens are concerned, these contain peanuts and may contain milk, soy, and tree nuts. The Nutrigrain bars contain wheat, milk, and soy ingredients. So, depending on what you are looking for allergen and nutrition-wise, either could be seen as better than the other. When it comes to flavor and enjoyment of eating, I have mixed feelings. The picture on the box makes it seem as though these have a decent layer of goo inside. That, unfortunately, is not the case. When I broke the bar in half, I could barely see anything at all. This is almost entirely crust, which is pretty disappointing. The Nutrigrain bars, while not quite as full of goo as their pictures would have you believe, are better balanced between the two parts. When it comes to flavor, I get a lot of oat, but there is some peanut flavor in there. I also get hints of date and banana. The banana comes across very subtly, which is kind of amazing in that banana is a very assertive flavor, so to have it barely come through shows just how little there is of that. So, I do find these to be disappointing in that they fail to deliver on the promise of their picture and on the promise of their flavor. However, I also think they are decent. I’m not going to have any trouble eating these (and yes, I’m going to eat them as opposed to feeding them to a young child), though I do think they are a bit dry, and they’re definitely not as soft as the Nutrigrain bars. I’m pretty sure that my kids would have eaten them when they were little. One of them would probably still eat them now.

Daughter and her Friends Love This
This is top 5 snacks for my daughter and her friends when the are here. They ask for PB lol and I know what they mean. They don't taste bad as an adult but the kiddos love them.

Dry
Flavor is pretty good but these are SUPER dry. My little won't eat them because they are too hard to chew. She does better if I dip them in milk first.

Not super flavorful
I liked the simple ingredients in this snack bar, but it was not very flavorful and it wasn't very banana-y or peanut butter-y It tasted similar to other cereal bars, but was chewier and more dense. Unless you've got a little who isn't picky (congrats) committing to 6 boxes is extreme. We ended up having to give most away because interest in these was short lived. I wish there was a variety pack. That said, these were just ok in our book and we wished for more PB flavor.

Will not buy again
These are very dry and do not taste good. My husband, who will eat anything, will not have another. I was hoping for a better snack for on the go but these are not it.

1yr old loves me!
I personally didn’t think they had enough flavor but they’re not for me! Ha! Kiddo LOVES them, though he’s not a picky eater.
