Look good, aggressive installed on an xc
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install on a 19c mavic trail rim on my hard tail xc front. I had to used my compressor to inflate and seat the beads unlike my supple xc tires. Installed they measure 2.17 in. The rim is the smallest that the tires can go on, at some point I should get wider rims. I will ride them and update the review.Update: a day after installing the tires are oozing sealant from the sidewalls. I will be returning these ones.

Good no nonsense front tire
This is the newer version of the vigilante one with the side knob sipes on the inside and more support for hardpack. Rolls slower than a DHF and about the same as a max grip assagai. Grip is pretty good and durability is okay. I don’t mind the weight you will get used to it after a couple rides it will make your bike feel more beafy. Running this in the front and a trail boss tough fast rolling in the back as you can see from the pictures on a specialized stump jumper evo being run almost exclusively at the bike park with some XC here and there so pretty Wild variation in ridding. Overall for the price it’s a good buy is it the best no will you be wanting more probably not. I give this tire a 4.5/5 would be a 5 if it rolled a bit faster.
