Just what I wanted. They haven’t got an annoying volume control on them. You can easily tell which ear’s which as the left one’s black and the right one’s red. Great

First of all I'd like to thank the company for a super quick delivery at no extra cost...24 hours from ordering to recieving..Well Done.!!Having recieved them I noticed right away that they were the updated version of them...having the anti tangle cable and a hard case to carry them around..I'm so glad I waited as I did not really fancy the pouch...The next thing I noticed upon opening the box and getting them out was the quality of not only the phones themselves but all the bits and bobs...You get several sets of extra ear buds (very generous in fact) and like I mentioend earlier you now get a hard case..NOT the pouch.The phones themselves are very well made and certainly look and feel the business, with an aluminium outer (I believe) and the finish was very neat of the paint job and decaling.I can't understand why some have said the build quality is poor...perhaps that's the case with the earlier versions, and maybe they have mistreated them someway...But these new incarnations are very well made in deed...as good as any other on the market for this price.As to the way they sound...I hooked them up to my Phone (which is able to play Flac and lossless music) and from the box they sounded amazing...Crisp..clear and a fairly good bass...I've run them in now for several days and the bass is perfect...Authoritive without being over the top..and the clarity has sweetend even more...I can understand now why they have won many top awards for the past 3 years.I've used these on my tablet and my laptop and I can find no faults with the quality of what they deliver...They also sound wonderful used with the 'Sandisc Sansa clip'..they are the perfect accompaniment as they do not take much power to use them, therefore saving you battery power....For those that complain about the tinny or none existant bass sound...Ignore what they say...they have no idea what they are talking about...These DO deliver great sound...the better the source the better these will deliver..!!!I have to say something at this point regarding certain peoples comments,especially when they say..These CHEAP phones this...Cheap that and cheap the other....SO WHAT if they are (which to be honest £35 isn't THAT cheap)..It doesn't make them any less in quality with what they can deliver,which is a fabulous sound...Expensive is NOT always the best believe me...Sound Magic have a great name and make some great phones of all types.All in all...Look no further to find a better sounding pair of in-ear phones...and not only for the money..You'd be wasting your money if you do, unless you spend around 3 times as much, and even then they would give them a run for their money....these will impress without having to rob the bank.

So I bought these before, they last about 1 and half years of heavy usage.I liked that the jack had a different style that looked like it could withstand more in and out of the pockets which causes headphones to break from the damage to the wiring over time.However these had the same issue after a while.I also liked the headphones come with a mic so I can make calls without putting the phone next to my head (god knows about that debate)Also they have a clip which you can attach to your clothes so the cable doesn't get caught in things as you're walking around a busy city.I'd say these are pretty good for the price but it would be nice if you could get headphones to last longer than a couple of years!

I purchased these as an upgrade to the earphones which come with my ipod. I spent a few days reading the reviews on here at all the different sets of earphones available in this price range (there are loads to choose from!) but the Soundmagic E10's seemed to stand out from the crowd. The thing that really made my mind up was the reviews that I found in various techy/gadget magazines like 'Stuff' and 'What HiFi' every review was consistent in that they were giving them top marks and raving about the superb build and sound quality. A couple of reviews went on to say how they were better than earphones costing more than twice as much!I ordered the earphones on a Saturday morning and the amazon parcel was on my doorstep by the following Tuesday (Thanks Amazon for the great service) and the next day I was looking forward to testing them out on my usual commute into London. The first thing I'll say is that I've never had the "in-ear" style of ear phone before and they take a bit of getting used to in finding the right ear bud to fit your ear (there are seven different sizes to chose from) and then spending a couple of moments to get them in your ear so that they're nice and secure and comfortable. These provide a nice fit though and once they're in I found that they stay in place without any trouble but it's important that you chose the right size ear bud.The build quality really is good though and as the advert describes the socket, connectors and ear buds are all made from aluminium.Anyway I was listening to my music at a low to moderate volume on the train (I hate the idiots who play their music to loud on the train!!) and the sound was nice and clear but if I'm honest I wasn't overly impressed (I'm far from an audiophile by the way). However when I was in london and starting my walk to the office I pumped up the volume and wow, the sounds really come alive with really nice bass and crystal clear sound. Better still was the fact that I was walking down a really busy road in london and I genuinely couldn't hear any of the road noise. Any concerns I'd had from my train journey were immediately forgotten about.Since then, I've also been watching a couple of films on the ipod and the sounds are great with that as well and I certainly felt impressed with the sound effex and particularly surround sound as you can pick up the smallest of detail.Seriously, if you've got £30 to spend on some earphones, get these, you won't be disappointed.
