Good quality and works well to hold water under seed trays etc.

Worked very well. Just make sure that there isn't a lot of height difference between the part of the mat on which you position your plants and the part that sits in the water. Also, we were greeted by a rather funky smell after returning from our vacation. Looks like stagnant water and this mat is a breeding ground for bacteria. But the smell vanished after letting it dry out. All in all, much better than other solutions.

capillary matting- large piece in pack, just what I needed

I bought this on the basis that it was five metres long. I can see now that down in the detail it says 2m but the main product name tag says “5 x 5 x 50” and when comparing with other products which describe this way it’s the metre length. Realised the problem after I’d cut the first metre off and there was only 1m left. I would have bought a different product that was better value price wise as now I’ll have to buy another pack to finish lining my trays. Quality is fine. Description not…. Grrrr.

Does exactly what it says and kept my plants well watered for a week.

Used for replacement strips for self waterer.

Lines a tray on a greenhouse shelf and it will be interesting to see whether in warm weather this is an efficient way to keep plants watered.
