Q: Can it be fixed to the door with a simple screwrer or it needs a drill

Did ours with just a Screwdriver, depends on the wood though as could split without a pilot hole being drilled first.

Q: Can you put a padlock on this lock?

Not really, I guess you could feed a small one through the rear bit when it is locked but it isn't really designed for it.
