7.5 Mil Blank Mylar Stencil Sheets (10Pcs), 12 x 24 Inch Clear Plastic Stencil Material for Crafts

I'm using this for cutting out stained glass patterns. Previously I'd purchased the "milky white" translucent version of a similar product and thought "It'd be nice if this were clear and I could see the entirety of the glass I'm cutting." Actually the translucent is better in my case. I'm finding that after cutting crystal clear pattern pieces, they are easily lost on my pattern design. I have to go rummaging over the pattern to "feel" where I've left the pieces. Not the manufacturer's fault, just something that doesn't work as well in my own personal application of the product. I'll try to use it up on larger pattern pieces that are more easily found and when this package (glad I only bought 1) is used up, will revert to the milky white.

I tried cutting out stencils with this material. I had not used my Cricut in quite sometime and had to figure out how it works.The only problem I had was it takes two cuts to free it, I don't think my machine will do this on auto.. Also you need to leave space around the stencil ?So repeated design for a full stencil doesn't work. Possibly the newer Cricut has a stencil option... However you can make a single cut stencil at the beginning where the machine aromatically goes back for a repeat. Still hoping to figure this out..

I have found that these sheets make great glass protectors for my HF sand blaster. They are less expensive than any of the other protective sheets I have found but just as durable and just the right size.

I was hoping for.a.more flexible product. Too stiff

Looks like thin overhead transparancy plastic. cracks/tears very easily. Not great for cutting stencils from.
