Phone for hearing impaired
Bought it for my mother a while ago and it’s worked well for her with her hearing loss. The battery in the hand set died last year but easily found a replacement on line and it was easy to replace. Now it works like new.

Good for people with limited vision
I bought these for a friend with very limited vision .She is very pleased with them .I am surprised that the answer phone does not give an auditory signal when their is a message but only a flashing light

Good but disappointed
Regretably I have started a returns process on these phones as they were not quite what I expected. Starting with the pros, They are well made, albeit made in China (of course). The audio boost button on the side of each handset seems to work quite well and the answer machine layout is sensible. However, as regards the cons. Unlike a lot of multi handset phones, the handsets do not sync with each other. This means that data, e.g. phone book entries and date and time have to be entered into each individual handset. And if you have the maximum number of handsets (5) and a lot of contacts, it is a real pain and very time consuming to update each and every handset. Personally, I did not like the dot matrix characters for phone book entries for example. There is no option for upper and lower case characters meaning that contact names have to be quite short. I did not like the choice of ring tones which were very similar to those found on mobile phones, i.e. melodic. The volume of each however can be increased from the default. I would have preferred the good old fashioned BT ring tone as an option. All in all, although the product is well made, I was disappointed and will have to look elsewhere.

User friendly phone
50 name phone book capacity not enough. Also text string for naming not long enough. Volume is good but I think it needs to be louder still, the boost button on the side doesn’t really help much. It’s easier to hear when the loud speaker is on. Limited choice of melodies. Overall I still say it’s a good phone easy to use and set up. Once you’ve added names to the address book on one phone I was disappointed to find it does not automatically copy to the other handset(s). It’s light weight, answer machine works well, also easy to use. Doesn’t have any call blocking facility. Good pair of hand sets for the money.

Tricky to set up but worth the effort
The basic instructions supplied on paper were OK but the online version much better. The units have so many features - nearly all good - but it takes time to understand them all.An email to customer service brought a quick response.

Phones for hard of hearing [not really!]
Minor benefits but major disadvantages...over existing phones. The phones are built well and have a quality feel, although the display is very poor and digital characters are very difficult to 'interpret' as they appear thin and quite disjointed, very difficult for anyone to distinguish/read let alone an OAP ! ... Abbreviations (and symbols) not readily understandable either on the display or key pad.Given that these phones are for the hard of hearing - they don't provide much volume boost over the standard phones even when the boost button is used. The enclosed instructions are extremely brief and do not detail all features fully.Setting up the phones is not straightforward - or logical. I inputted several contacts in the phone book of one handset - expecting to be able to copy these to other handsets linked to the same base station, but have found no way of doing this, apparently each handset needs to have the contents added independently - thank heavens the phone book is limited to only 50 entries, this is a backwards step from my old phone system and an annoying waste of time.I could go on but am thinking of putting the old phone system back as it was better.I wouldn't recommend these phones if you want an easy set up or expect a significant increase in call volume unless you only need a couple of contacts in your phone book.

A must for hard of hearing people
These phones are amazing ,my mum wears a hearing aid ,she takes it off when she answers her phone, and with the hearing boost she can hear ,these are great also the ringer volume is loud so she can hear when it rings, great phones ,these have been a life saver for her as she can communicate with people now,as since lock down she couldn't hear the phone ring or people talk.

Sound quality and volume appalling
I bought this for my elderly mother because it was necessary in order to use the add-on Geemarc Photodect295- Amplified Big Button Cordless Telephone handset with Photo ID Buttons. While the Photodect 295 is okay - though far from perfect - this main unit is useless. It's almost impossible to hear callers, and the volume can only be adjusted during a call - so each call starts inaudible. The volume adjustment is difficult and intrusive, and even then does not really go high enough even for someone without hearing difficulties; and the sound quality is very poor. If it weren't for the fact that you can't use the Photodect without it - and my mother needs a simple cordless phone for nights - I would be returning it. As a main phone it is as good as useless. Very disappointing.
