Stunningly brilliant
I bought these cards for use in our Science department in school. I decided they would make a fantastic corridor display so they are currently being placed on the wall in our department and they look brilliant. Now ordered another set for use in our lessons, and will probably order more sets as the budget allows to build up a set of them. The cards are fully detailed and graphically appealing and can be used by any age group from about 10 years or older, though the photos are exceptional for younger children to look at and introduce to. They are also applicable to 16+ students and would make an ideal Christmas or birthday gift to anyone student studying post 16 chemistry as a top quality learning aid.

Sparking curiosity
Today, thanks to these cards, one of my top set Year 10s learned that calcium is a metal. Before these images she thought "it was just some bone stuff".The cards look amazing on my wall, bigger than the OHP screen, and provided those who weren't on prefect training great fun just putting them in order on the wall. Never have I been asked so many questions about what elements do!These cards spark curiosity, look amazing, and are full of information. Only ones missing are flerovium and livermorium!

beautiful large coloured cards with information on one side that ...
I cannot praise these enough, beautiful large coloured cards with information on one side that is easy to read and understand. and the elementformula on the other. I bought the book for my older grandson 12 which he loves and the cards for the younger one 9 which he also lovesan excellent way for them to learn, can really recommend both., The cards were taken to school and the teacher took details and intends toget a set.

Great for revision
These are nice for revision or to play a more complicated version of top trumps. I imagine they are great for revision for alevels or even first year degree chemistry. However, they don't have the newly discovered elements on them. Haven't been updated since 2008 I think.

One of the best
These cards are fantastic, an amazing learning resource for anyone interested in chemistry, or the elements. Each card has all the information you would want or need, with a fun little fact about each one. The pictures of each element are really good, great for putting the elements into context. Definitely recommend this!

LITERALLY AMAZING
I loved these, they tell you so much useful information, you can put them together and they come in a nice small box, honestly, this is one of the best things i ever have bought my son. HE LOVES THESE. one thing he did say though, the elements towards the end have no facts and are named before there formal name was decided, therefore this deck is a little out of date, but he says its amazing

Lovely cards
I have the book and love the images and so purchased these for use in my science classroom. They are high quality with great info on the back. They also make a huge periodic table which is bluetacked to my wall!
