Forgiving and excellent for repairs.
This product is perfect for temporarily protecting damaged surfaces and for painting stuff you’re not confident with properly painting.I painted my car badges with this stuff. I chose this stuff because it easily peels off if I don’t like it or need to sell the car. I’ve kept it on for now and it looks excellent it’s given it a beautiful semi Matt black finish. I applied it like 5 months ago and it’s still fine.I’ve also used it to cover the curb scratches on my black alloys to keep the elements off the bare metal, until I can get them repaired. It was quick to apply and was seamless after it was applied. The stuff even stays on for months regardless of road debris, washing the car… and more impact damage 😂.Well worth it. If u don’t like it just peel it back off. It leaves no damage or residue. Just remember if you want a nice finish apply at least 3 coats. Waiting for each coat to dry for at least 15 mins. Also I can’t imagine that the lung cancer that the plastic fumes and dust probably gives you is good for you so wear a mask indoors.

Amazing stuff.
Great for blacking out your car badges. Very easy to apply, no runs what so ever. Just make sure you follow the instructions & you’re good to go. Only takes 20 mins between coats & then 4hrs & it’s completely dry. I used the Matt black version. Good price too.

Brilliant stuff
First time user and it was so easy. I wish I had discovered this before. Ideal for front and rear badges etc on my mazda ND. Looks OEM.

Easy to use, good results
I used plastidip on my chromed plastic front grill of my camper, I wanted to see what it looked like with the ability to peel it off if not happy with the result.I followed the youtube video and removed all grease, white spirit first, then followed by alcohol wipes. Put can in to warm water, shook can for 2min, kept grille out of direct sunlight, temperature 28' c. The first 2 sprays were fine, 1st coat a light dusting, second cost good, then the can started to spit ( I sprayed upside down to clear the head after each spray) waited the recommended 30 min between coats. I used my fingersto smove out the paint blobs, then layed down another coat. Because of the rubberised consistency the blob holes were filled, by extra spay ( very frustrating).I am pleased to say the end result is amazing.Great product except for the gun spitting. Note, I also followed the recommended spray procedure with the can at 90 degrees to the object not spraying downwards.

Looking good
Easy to use, make sure you clean your project with alcohol wipes and wipe with a clean cloth, I allowed 30mmn boarder around the badges and a light coat to start with, and left for 20min, and appled slightly heavier coat on 2nd coat, and same again on the 3rd coat and last coat slightly heavier, letting it dry for 20min between coats. Removed the masking tape pulling back the 30mm boarder this gives you something to pull on and it comes away from badges lovely, ive got a lovely finish to all my chrome is now black and any over spray whips off.Brilliant stuff well recommended.

Does a good job
I am new to this sort of product. We have an old dog who needs a ramp now to get into a car. But its made of slippery plastic (great design!). So I first used PlastiDip primer to fully cover the ramp, then used this PlastiDip black spray over it. It need 3 coats to make it thick enough. That finished the can. Now a few weeks on, the dog has no problem gripping the ramp and climbing into the car. The coating seems quite robust, so I am very happy. Not cheap though!

Easy to use
Scan the qr code that comes on the tin, this gives some excellent tips on how to use. Covers plastic chrome with no preparation required other than cleaning the surface to be sprayed. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing
2004 discovery 3 with very faded badges on the bonnet.CleanedDryerMask off 2 inch boarder.I have this 5 coats keeping them pretty light.Left 30 mins between coats and 3 hours after last coat.Grab a corner and just peal off taking your time. Use a toothpick to get the bits off within letters like ADOPBI have since jet washed the car twice since then driven 2000 miles and it still looks good as it did the day I did it.Highly recommended A++
