I used this when hiking in hot weather. It really does cool you down! I wet it and wrapped it around my neck. What a difference it made. Absolute essential for being out doors in the summer

However this really does work for hot flushes.No problem getting refund from Amazon.I have reduced the rating from 3 star to 1 star as after a few hours use there is a sticky residue coming from presumable abosrbent crystals or whatever they are. I don't think this product is fit to sell.

These are wonderful. A nice low tech solution that works very well. We keep a jug of water in the fridge for these to soak and refresh in.They do feel like they're leaking thier gel, and maybe they are, but it hasn't affected their effectiveness over the years. If you struggle with the heat, these things are a huge quality of life improver.

Use it whilst gardening and when fishing on boat on hot days, helps keep me cool

It feels a bit strange at first but the coolness does last many hours. I wore this while in Spain in August and it definitely helped cool me down on long walks. It looks a bit like a cravat or neckerchief when worn under a shirt collar. My only complaint is that it is a little tricky to keep it tied on.

This is a great and easy way to stay cool. Ot doesn't dribble or leak. The only downside is it's drab colour, but that's a personal choice and doe not affect the performance of the scarf

I have bought two of these before but this one feels slimy and horrible. I have recommended these and gave my first one to a relative. The second started to fall apart. This new one was awful from day one. Sorry but I would think twice about buying another. Pity as they do the job of stopping the sweats for me as a cancer patient on hormone therapy.

Bought this as a gift for someone with MS to relieve their symptoms of overheating. They were thrilled with it and couldn't stop saying how much it helped to cool them down! Was wishing I'd bought one for myself this summer.I notice that some reviewers had trouble with distributing the crystals inside the product evenly. I found that placing it in water first and quickly moving the crystals around made this a lot easier than attempting to do so when the product is dry, which I think is what the instructions suggest.
