Useful gadgets, add them to cool water for a while, wait for them to swell and then refrigerate until cold and tie around your neck. The quality is okay but they are useful on a sunny day.

Not all that good

Love these. They give a lovely cooling effect which lasts quite a long time and when it starts to wear off I pop it in the fridge for a few minutes rather than soaking it again. I've usually got 2 or 3 in a jug of water ready for the "heatwaves"!

Cool scarf and fairly stylish

At the time of the review £4.99 is good value for money as you get x5 scarves in the pack. They are all the same pattern but different colours. The scarf has balls sewn inside which absorb water and help to cool you down when wrapped around your neck. I bought them with the intention of wearing one when cycling. They look summery and seem to hold the water ok with no dripping. The scarf is quite thin but there is enough to wrap around and tie around your neck (think boy scout\girl guide scarf size). I actually think they are really clever and useful for situations where you can't use a fan.
