Excellent quality
Very good quality cable! It is thick, well shielded, but also very soft and flexible. The sound quality is far superior to a 15 pound equivalent cable I was using. Cannot fault it at all

Imrovement in Audio Quality Comparable to Much More Expensive Cables!
I purchased one of these cables in 1m length to use with an Avantree Oasis Long Range BluetoothTransmitter and Receiver, in order to see whether there would be a noticeable improvement in audio quality in comparison to the cables supplied with the Oasis. There was a very substantial improvement in audio quality and so I purchased another one so that I would have the Oasis connected to my Rega hi-fi system permanently for use as both a receiver and a transmitter. For full details please refer to my review of the Oasis below:I bought this item primarily so that I could transmit sound from my Toshiba Chromebook 2 laptop computer to my hi-fi system. My main computer is a desktop Apple Mac Pro situated in my study, and I have always enjoyed decent audio when using it in conjunction with a Denon RCD-M37DAB CD Receiver and a pair of Audica mps-1 speakers, albeit nowhere near the sound quality of my Rega hi-fi system in my "music room" (listed and used as a dining room by the previous occupiers).Connecting the Oasis could not have been easier using the supplied audio cables. I connected one end of the male 3.5mm (jack) to male 3.5mm (jack) audio cable to the RX Auxilary Output (AUX), and the other other end into the socket of the female 3.5mm (jack) to 2 RCA male phono plugs cable. Then I connected the phono plugs to the Line Input phono sockets on my Rega Brio amplifier.Next I logged on to my laptop and paired it with the Oasis using Bluetooth. Hey Presto! Now I enjoy hi-fi quality audio via my Rega system when I am streaming videos or listening to internet radio stations. Prior to seeing the Oasis listed amongst the recent Primeday items I had been contemplating buying an internet radio, and so this purchase has saved me a lot of money as the Ruark model I had been interested in costs over £400. In addition it would not have sounded as good as the Chromebook, Oasis and Rega combination for listening to internet radio stations.Previously I had been using a Monitor Audio Airstream S150 Bluetooth speaker to enhance the audio quality when using the Chromebook, and I decided this might be useful to listen to CDs playing on my Rega system whilst in other rooms of my bungalow, or in the conservatory. So I disconnected the cables and reconnected them to the TX Auxiliary Input (AUX) of the Oasis and to the Tape Output phono sockets on the Rega Brio. It was then a simple process to pair the S150 speaker with the Oasis using Bluetooth. So the Oasis is now serving two purposes. My next aim was to see whether I could improve upon the audio quality when using the Oasis in both Transmitter and receiver modes. So I ordered this item from Amazon Primewire - 1m HQ 3.5 Stereo Jack to 2 RCA Phono Y Audio Cable | RCA Connector for Surround Sound / Dolby Digital / DTS | 1x Jack 3.5mm Male to 2x Cinch RCA | Metal Shell Casing. There was a definite improvement in audio quality when using the Oasis as both a Transmitter and Receiver with this audio cable.I love listening to Got Radio Bluegrass on the internet, and the improvement in sound quality makes a mockery of the low price of the Primewire cable. In comparison the improvement in audio quality when using the Primewire cable was not as substantial when streaming videos or listening to music (other than internet radio stations) on Amazon, but IMO this is due to the quality of the source, and the improvement was still noticeable.Likewise there was a definite improvement in sound quality when using the Primewire cable when transmitting audio from my Rega CD player via my Rega amplifier and the Oasis to the Monitor Audio Auirstream S150 Bluetooth speaker. So I ordered another Primewire cable Primewire - 1m HQ 3.5 Stereo Jack to 2 RCA Phono Y Audio Cable | RCA Connector for Surround Sound / Dolby Digital / DTS | 1x Jack 3.5mm Male to 2x Cinch RCA | Metal Shell Casing, and I now have one connected to the RX Auxiliary Output (AUX) of the Oasis and my Rega Brio Line Input sockets, and the other to the TX Auxiliary Input (AUX) and Tape Output sockets respectively. Now I leave the Oasis in Bypass mode and switch between RX (Receiver) and TX (Transmitter) modes depending upon whether I am using my Chromebook in the "music room" or listening to CDs, playing on my Rega CD player, via the S150 Bluetooth speaker elsewhere in my bungalow.I thoroughly recommend this product without reservation. The enclosed instructions are clear, concise and easy to follow, and I am so pleased that I came across this the Avantree Oasis whilst perusing the list of upcoming items prior to Amazon's Primeday. I was not even looking for an item like this at the time, but I would not be without it now!

Very good (but not perfect)
I initially had my MacMini hooked up to my Denon amplifier with a blue tooth adapter that connected to the amp via a pair a (very short) RCA cables. This setup produced no hiss whatsoever, even when I turned the amp up to "11" (not playing music of course!). However, I haven't come across a bluetooth adaptor yet that doesn't drop out, and I got tired of reconnecting to it, so I switched to a physical cable. Originally, this was an old, cheap cable I had lying around which hissed quite badly.Which is why I bought this cable. There's a slight hiss now, which is just audible when I turn up the amp very loud (again, not playing music). Far better than my old, cheap cable, but not as good as the bluetooth adaptor with its very short cables.I guess all this makes sense. This cable looks robust, and is probably well shielded, but at 3 m long, some interference does creep in. A shorter cable would probably have been better, but would not have worked with my setup, and the longer sizes will be worse. Its something you should think about. From what I can see, the cable seems exceptionally well made. Just beware that optical cables are always best, so my advice is to check first whether your equipment has Toslink connectors.

Very impressed indeed and can highly recommend
I've always had a healthy scepticism regarding cables and audio output. However, this connector has totally converted me. I really have noted a very substantial difference: total audio landscape enhanced with clearer high, mid and base evident.I'm using an Apple iMac that is USB connected to a Cambridge DACmagic XS (DAC) then using the 0.5m cable version of Primewire 3.5mm stereo jack/RCA Phono connector to link the DAC to Q Acoustics BT3 stereo speakers. The connectors are very substantial, as is the cable. Very satisfying and elegant. Slide well into the connectors, making stable interactions.Very impressed indeed and can highly recommend.

Just the job
High quality audio cable at an affordable price. Good for anyone on a tight budget looking for something cheap and relaible that gets the job done. Using this to a Panasonic tv in the front room to improve audio quality of the tv to hook up to a Bose wave sound system.Simply connect the two Rca cable to the left and right stereo outputs on the rear of the tv and the other end to the auxiliary headphone jack of your sound system and you are good to go. No need to set up. Just select aux on your remote control and the sound from your tv will be outputted through your device of choice. This will then disable the speaks on your tv which were to be honest a little tinny and hard to make words out. By using this simple device the sound quality has improved considerably but be sure to turn the sound down first before connecting and adjust the sound to a comfortable level. Takes only a matter of seconds to connect and just the right length for me as was worried it may have been too shortly to reach. Needless to say there are cheaper models available but they may not produce the same quality. With this you will receive excellent sound quality from a single cable with no sound dropouts. All in all at this price you can't go wrong and would certainly recommend their products to others looking for a cheap alternative to many high end models on the market at almost twice the price. Absolute bargain.

Chunky and built to last
Nice looking cable with a good, solid connection with RCA input on my amp and a small shield around 3.5mm means it fits in phones with a case on (Sony Xperia)
