It's very pretty and it doesn't feel like it will break at all however it isn't very stiff. I like my hair sticks to be stiff so I can make my buns tighter but this has some bend to it. If you like that then get this. That's just how it's made and it's made well, it just isn't my preference, which is why I didn't take off a star. I still it and will use it

Compared to a much higher priced item made with the same materials works exactly the same. This hair stick is a big longer so great for longer hair. It is flexible so if you have thick wavy hair I would suggest being gentle when inserting. But it is lightweight & looks great for updo’s & does a great job of holding your style.

I have long thick hair and this works well to hold it nicely in a tight bun.

This lasted me a few months until it broke when falling out onto the hard floor at a resturant. It was sturdy but I think I pushed its limitations. Be nice with it.

hair sticks need to be firm and stiff, this is way to bendy for my hair. I like that it is pointy and long, but it probably won't be the first stick I grab in my collection.

I rarely leave reviews but as someone with very long and thick hair I can say this works very well. I wear it all day (9+ hours) at work and it doesn't budge. Takes some working with to get it to stay at first but that's no fault of the stick, that's user error.
