Great for making food wraps
I bought these to make my own beeswax food wraps to compare with the solid bars I had also bought. These pellets are so much easier to use, the smell exactly the same as the beeswax bars, the melt nicely and spread easily over the fabric so I don't have to use as much beeswax per wrap. Save so much time not having to try and grate the bars and can get a much more even spread using the pellets too. I will definitely be buying these again and would recommend them over the bars to anyone who wants to make their own beeswax wraps at home.

Good stuff - pelleted form makes it very easy to use and blend into other waxes and oils.
Beeswax has lots of uses from making candles and polishes to blending with other waxes and oils to use for potting guitar pickups and even making patch lube. It can be blended into oils to raise the melting point to suit the consistency needed for the application. This stuff is pelletised, so easy to pour and weigh out accurately, and then easy to blend into other liquid oils and waxes to give the right consistency. Works great!

Candle making day
This is a very timely email. I've just made two candles today. They look really very pretty and are ready for the cooler evenings as the nights draw in. The kitchen smelt lovely while the wax melted this afternoon and the scent is still floating around the house. There is a lip balm recipe ready for the next project. Thank you for this lovely product - and the bees of course :)

Beeswax
On opening this product, it does have a plasticy smell to it. I used it to create candles using moulds. It drys very quickly, has a fantanstic yellow colour and is very hard. I am looking to use beeswax to make some balms but think I will look around for a food grade one.

Quality is inadequate
When heated, this wax has a cloudy consistency, rather than translucent, and when it hardens again, it does not hold its shape. The quality is inadequate, despite the fact that the smell is very natural. I'm returning it.
