Arrived quickly, great value bottle
I used to rely on the Boots Witch Hazel BPC in the glass bottles but since moving house it’s difficult to get to a Boots. In steps this stuff. It’s packed well, in a solid plastic bottle (which could be reused for shower gels etc once empty) and a thin plastic wrap to prevent leakage. The witch hazel itself is unscented apart from the natural scent of witch hazel, which isn’t a strong smell at all. It is herbal water, so don’t expect any unusual consistencies - it’s a clear liquid.Witch hazel is brilliant for sorting red patches of skin, drying out spots and can be used as a toner. I tend to not use it every day as it can be drying (it is an astringent) but at least every two or three days, especially around my period where spots are more common. This is a big bottle so good value for money and arrived quickly and safely.

Best skin tonic ever
I have sensitive skin and a bit of rosacea that's coming and going, especially spring time.I use this as skin cleanser/tonic morning and night, and I love it. Leaves my skin refreshed and cleansed without drying it out. I guess the scent can be considered a bit of an acquired taste, but this is what witch hazel smells like and has nothing to do with added chemicals. If you want a milder scent and action, mix this 1/3-1/2 rose water. The 14% alcohol content is actually great for skin mite related rosacea; I feel that this tonic is actually much less harsh than other, more popular acne/rosacea tonics. If you have dry/sensitive skin, just be sure to use proper moisturiser after this tonic, just as usual.Mixed with 1/3 rose water makes for perfect facial mist, especially on hot days :)Another positive is that this product lasts long without going stale - great value for money!Have been using this for a year now, very happy with it.All in all, great product for a great price.

GREAT FOR FACIAL SKIN CARE.
Great price.. I've used Witch Hazel for years..as a toner.. morning & night after using my cleansing products (facial). The price has risen so much so when I landed on this & at this price it was a no brainer. Just thought give it a go & glad I did.Just recently I've started having a slight reaction to my regular WH especially around the orbital area.. Used this & absolutely perfect...and doesn't dry out the skin.. No reaction!.. I've spent RIDICULOUS amounts of £££ on high end Toners but I go back to WH Every time. This is my go to from now on.If you're needing to use a toner give this a shot..it's great for tightening pores. If you have a very dry skin with an oily T-Zone then just use it on TZ.

Good buy ..now on subscription
I have purchased several times .. and would recommend.Like another review on here, one bottle, I have also experienced bugs inside. I am not aware I have left cap open , unless in use.I will continue to buy this product for value for money to unless same happens again.

Essential
I've been using Witch Hazel for 30 years and trust me when I say you need a bottle in your house.Lots of uses and a bottle lasts for ages. There are many buying choices for a product like this, but this one seemed the best value for money.Above all, it's a cheap and effective facial care product. Use it on its own on a cotton pad and, even straight out of the shower, you'll be surprised at the dirt you'll find and how alive your skin feels. Or mix with some Fullers Earth for a face pack you'll feel working.I love this stuff. Give it a try.

Best astringent toner
I have been using witch hazel as a toner for years. Here is what I think:Value for priceThis product is definitely the best value for price (I used to buy 100g from Holland and Barrett at 3£).How to use itWitch hazel contains alcohol (ethanol) naturally, hence it might your skin. To avoid drying your skin I suggest moisturising your skin more than usual.Who is this forI wouldn't suggest it for dry, sensitive skin types as alcohol might cause dry patches and flakes. It is perferct for normal/combination and oily skin types eg. with acne, excessive sebum production, or occasional breakouts.

Good product but contains 14% of alcohol
i did not like that this product contains 14% of ethanol, which is my fault as I did not properly checked the item description prior to purchasing. The delivery was fast and packaging is of high quality. The alcohol content its just way to harsh on my skin type.
