Great collection - recommended
I remember Ozzy over many years and had several of his albums but they disappeared long ago. I saw him in concert on Sky a few weeks ago and remembered just how good his music was so I bought this double CD. Great decision, well put together and, rather than buying the albums again, it covers his output with all of his best known tracks. Hugely recommended.

If you are reading this then you have to be an Ozzy fan. In my opinion this is the best value all round collection of well known songs you are going to find! Love it!

This is a great overview of Ozzy's career and can't complain about the sheer quality of music contained, considering the man himself can hardly remember making most of it!I have two qualms however; 1) The mastering on Rock N Roll Rebel is extremely bass heavy and may blow your speakers if you've been cranking the preceding songs and 2) Due to legal disputes there are no tracks from The Ultimate Sin, one of Ozzy's best albums. Therefore you are missing at least Shot In The Dark and The Ultimate Sin, two tracks that would have been highlights of this album...which means this isn't actually The Essential Ozzy Osbourne.None the less, the rest of the tracks offer a great insight into the Prince Of Darkness' solo career.

There's nothing like a bit of Ozzy Osbourne, first thing in the morning! I'm actually very impressed with this album so far. It's playing through my headphones at half seven this morning.To imagine being in the mood to hear such music at such a time may be difficult for some. Yes, there's much loud rock to begin with, but then, it all changes when Goodbye To Romance slips on. I can't wait to hear Paranoid done live, and then, there's another interesting title on the horizon: Mama, I'm Coming Home.The production is excellent, there's some great guitar, it's all in all, so far, a stunning piece of work.Nice one Oz'
