Works excellent and buying another
Worked as it should. Be sure to read manual and install like it says it you will have issues.

Works but beware if you have a heat pump
This adapter WILL work with heat pumps however I strongly recommend against it as it will undo most performance optimizations. That's because this can't send IR data and some other data to the outside unit. What ends up happening is that any call to heat will trigger the backup electric resistance, turning your nice efficient heat pump into a toaster.

Quite finicky, not ready yet
Installed this in my 2 zone mitsubishi system for my new install, and even though they worked great during the summer for cooling, when the fall weather came around everything went haywire. Calling for heat and no reaction except fan coming on on the air handler. I had to switch out both air handlers with the MHK-1's but that meant loosing my 8000 series thermostats, and reverting into the stone age of the 6000 series outdated junk that came with the MHK-1 Kit. Too bad Mitsubishi cant release an 8000 series that works with their systems. Engineers need a wake up call. Its not 2001 anymore.
