Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer, Fig 0.09 oz

I like this color very much & the tube is small & convenient to carry.What I dislike is that the swivel part doesn't work very well & the lip shimmer smears & doesn't go back down easily so that it is very messy.I have to end up using a Kleenex to clean up, so a lot can be lost this way.I've also bought another color in this same type of tube by Burt's Bees & it does the same thing, so it wasn't just the fig color or 1 instance.I do love the colors (peony & fig) & the shimmer effect so those are good & true.I also know that I could have returned these & maybe they would be improved, but didn't as I didn't know if they would be improved & like the colors & the shimmer & feel of the lip application, so I decided to put up with a little bit of mess & aggravation!

I have tried many moisturizers for my lips over the years. They get pretty dry. This is a quick way to add a little color and shimmer at the same time. I have lipsticks, but they just seem heavier to me. The color "Fig" goes well with my complexion. It is a little darker than most of Burt's Bees colors, but I need that so that my face doesn't look so "washed out". And I don't like the Matte look. I like a little shine.

I like the minty feel on my lips. I don't use this for all day color but for the times my lips are chapped and i just want quick color.

I get this for the peppermint oil. Gives me a little color as well.

Color does not hold for long.

Always have this color, fig, and the cherry one! Works great and looks good, too!

i think cherry cerise & rhubarb rhubarbe are the best two for all colour skin.

Beautiful colour, super hydrating, lovely and smooth, no stickiness and very easy to apple...HOWEVER! Check for dimensions as I thought it was a joke when I opened the package, see attached image below... safe to say I had a bit of a chuckle and felt a little miffed after the price I paid for something so small.

This is an absolute life saver! I have the Fig and Shea Butter - it is so soothing on the lips and leaves them feeling moisturized and supple. Lasts for a couple of hours, so have to top it up at least 2 times a day, which is fine. The shimmer is amazing as well, just the right amount.

I like Burt's Bees products but was a bit surprised that this was about half the width of thei lip balm but twice the price. Nice colour and good shine but not sure I would buy again.

Love the Burt's bees lip shimmers. This is a nice shade, even for darker skins. Gives a fresh menthol feeling on lips. A nice subtle alternative to lipstick so tend to wear it for work. Wouldn't recommend for a full coverage look but for a hint of moisturising colour can't go wrong. Also wouldn't be put off if you're not a fan of shimmer as despite the name it's more of a nice sheen rather than shimmer.
