Couldn't asked for better
Yes, this is a classic Chinese made knife but trust me that doesn't mean it is a cheaply made knife or a cheap knock-off. Lately a number of knife makers have turned to Chinese manufactures, including named brand makers. With all that being said, this is truly a high-quality knife that has all the top features one asks for in an EDC. Shape, size, weight, and functionality. Right out of the box the blade was extremely sharp. Whether or not it holds an edge remains to be seen. but I suspect it will. It appears to be spring assisted but comes a little stiff and will most likely take some time to get it to where it feels comfortable. Overall, it is a good addition to one's collection and it won't disappoint.

OUTSTANDING KNIFE!.....but...
This is a massive lock blade knife with a very useful EDC blade shape. If you are looking to stab some mugger. look elsewhere, this is not what you are looking for. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a razor sharp slasher, that will cut to the bone and that that is the perfect blade shape for real life everyday use such as opening boxes, cutting heavy rope of cord, or whittling down a piece of wood, you cannot go wrong with the Sitivien ST138 Folder. The blade of this knife is fashioned from a thick, nearly 5mm slab of 14C28N Stainless Steel which I have used to baton and split kindling just as I would any of my more expensive fixed blade camping knives.I am rough on my carry knives and my Sitivien ST138 has survived several months of pocket carry, daily use, and abuse and shows zero damage to the blade, lock or bearings. The Micarta is a bit large but still comfortable in my hand. I would not however, recommend using it for long term carving od whittling projects as the handle size and shape does not lend itself to extended use as a good fixed blade knife might. The blade of this knife comes from Sitivien with a nice EDC working edge. However, I am a bit demanding when it comes to sharpness, so one of the first things I did, which I do to all my knives, was take it to my Arkansas wet stone and then the leather strop. In less than 5 minutes I was easily able to touch it up a bit and hand lapped the blade surgically sharp. The 14C28N steel does a nice job of holding an edge and I would compare to AEB-L or perhaps 1095 Carbon steel.HOWEVER, over months of usage, I have found that after repeated uses cutting heavy materials, hemp and nylon rope, and thick cardboard, the edge does require a light touch up occasionally to return it to scalpel sharpness.Edge retention and the fact that the width of the Micarta grips are a bit large for constant extended cutting, are the only reason I did not give this great folding EDC 5 stars in all categories. That being said, I continue to use this tough. lightning fast opening folder as my EDC and as my money clip, and I carry it every single day. While at first you might find it is a bit heavy in the pocket, if you are like me, you will find the heft reassuring that the knife is securely in your pocket. In addition, the Sitivien ST138 has an added advantage in that unlike more expensive folders such as my Cold Steel AD10, which is somewhat similar size and utility, if I were to misplace my Sitiven ST138, I would not send me into a fit of depression as I could easily replace it for well under fifty bucks. If you are looking for an inexpensive, reliable, fast opening, and attractive folder, you cannot go wrong with the Sitiven ST138 and it's 14C28N blade. You will not be disappointed. Happy cutting and as always....Semper Fi -Gunny S.USMC Retired

Bigfoot's Box Cutter
This is a bargain for less than $30, but it is also quite big in hand, and you will feel it in your pocket. Mine was missing a screw on the "ugly" pocket clip, but that was easily remedied with my stock pile of knife screws. It's not the prettiest girl at the dance, but it is a decent working knife for people with bigger sized hands. It's definitely a conversation starter, and I ended up giving it to my friend who became quite enamored with it after flipping it open a few times. It's definitely worth the buy if you collect this style of knife.

More than just a novelty.
I bought this knife as a poor man's version of some really expensive customs I've seen, but wasn't expecting the amount of utility I ended up getting out of it. I use it during yardwork, and the blade shape even helps me clean the bottom of the lawnmower when I'm done. The action and drop shutty deployment is smooth. The size may be a little big for day to day EDC carry, but trust me, this knife is worth every penny.
