Good fan but my unit was faulty started making noise. Crompton service fixed it.
Update 6 : 13th July 2024 - Crompton ASC replaced everything. Now no more issues. Thanks Crompton and ASC. 🙂Update 5: 4th July 2024 - ASC replaced both coil and PCB which lowered the tek tek noise issue but new issues showed up with fan stopping suddenly while running and won't start using remote need to turn it off and on again with mains power switch. When it's running theres some mild scratching noise sometimes.Update 4: 23rd June 2024 - the tek-tek-tek-tek-tek-tek noise came back. I reckon it's probably the shaft is faulty. Let's see what Crompton service does. Should have went with cheap induction fans instead of this expensive headache in this summer heat. Going to think twice before buying Crompton products in future except water pumps.Update 3: 17th June 2024 - Technician brought new bearings set and replaced the old ones now fan is working without any noise. All good for now. Increasing stars to 3.Update 2: Service Centre technician came and told they will have to change the bearings and after one week on 13th June 2024, came with replacement bearings which started making noise and seemed faulty right after the moment it was fitted and They told me to give the fan motor to them and they will repair it I denied as I'm not sure if I'll get it back in good scratchless state, he went away with the fan removed and disassembled (feels bad to see brand new stuff in such state) and said will bring another pair of bearings on 15th june which they ordered from Crompton. Now I'm waiting looking at the disassembled fan for 2 days. Will update when they visit again.Update: (Purchased -March 2024) From Mid of May the fan started making rattling noise (tek-tek-tek) (video uploaded) Checked all blade and Controller and mounting rod bolts and screws everything tightened but noise is still there. Will see if service centre can resolve it.There is a small paint chip or scratch on the fan motor surface, not that noticable. Fan is working fine after fitting, make sure to bypass or remove old fan regulator. Fan noise is comparable to older fans and speed is good too. While starting up the fan does struggle by moving back and forth few times and then starts. From checking it with other bldc fans it seems normal the fan calibrate its speed reference points and dc current pulse synchronisation before starting up hence move back and forth. Hope it lasts as long as older fans which lasted 30 years. Price is high as it's new technology might get cheaper once adopted by everyone.Remote sometimes needs to be pressed twice and sometimes works flawlessly not much of an issue for now.

Not so great, but ok product
As someone who used atomberg for 2 years, the review is more of a comparison between the two.Pros:- A good crompton brand.- Energy efficiency.- The feel of robustness compared to Atomberg- Remote pairing with only one fan is a good feature - or bad one depending on how we use it. In case we have multiple fans in proximity (living and dining areas), controlling one does not impact the other one.- No issues so far (1 month of usage), whereas Atomberg had all sorts of issues - ball bearing noise, remote not working, fan going into very high speed etc. But, Atomberg replaced the motors in all the cases.Cons:- Not so great looks compared to Atomberg.- No built-in LED. This was a very useful feature - where we did not need a separate night light.- Remote takes a bit of getting used to - coming from Atomberg. Especially separate buttons for ON and OFF

Great!
After Energion HS this might be their best model so far. Elegant and slim.I don't know how long it will last but that 5 Years warranty is the knly reason I bought it because the PCB gets damaged occasionally. I have 3 more fans, same, 2 out of 3 had pcb issues which was resolved free of cost. This fan has some kind of screeching noise which is extremely low, I mean normally you can't hear it. It's more prominent at night.Crompton fans overall have some kind of issue related to product quality because they replaced 2 of my fans. I still purchased their fan because they are the only one providing dirt cheap bldc fans with 5 years warranty. After the replacement, fans are working normally. No issue so far.

Expect them to have issues out of the box, but the after sales service is good
I bought 4 Crompton Energion Cromair 1200mm BLDC Ceiling Fans for my house in Chennai. Two of them were not functional out of the box with service team sighting issues related to board. However the suppor team were really quick to resolve the issues. I still have one fan that will never remember the last speed I had set so have to it starts on 5 always. While I appreciate the after sales service from Crompton, these products are not tested well and have issues out of the box.
