Need to have an app for your phone and your phone must be connected to internet the entire time you use it. Not that I ever got to the point where I could actually use it. So if your traveling then this is useless.Downloaded the app and it took a while to get it to pair to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. Once paired it didn't translate, I went to the help site and like so many its more frequently asked questions and a list of things that is not helpful in the least. I never figured out how to actually talk with someone or even a chat option. The website designer is the best thing about this. He, or She did a bang up job making this look like it was a great translating device. It got me to drop 80 bucks on it. Hopefully I can return it, but I am not holding my breath. If I was still in the Marine Corps I would try to get this company on our banned list...Semper Fi.

It was great

Very disappointed. I bought this for my 78 year old mom for Christmas in preparation for our trip to Mexico to visit her recently widowed daughter-in-law & new baby who only speak Spanish. The device was of no use without the app & WiFi which were both very spotty. The device could not be used at all & is still in original packaging. I would very much like to return for a full refund.

Was impressed by the size Item. Just seems that it needs to work with the cell phone at all times

It will be helpful when I travel abroad but it’s a little hard to use. Not user-friendly. It’s kind of clunky and you have to use your phone and the device I would rather not have to involve the phone.However, it’s not bad it suits the purpose.

App didn't work w my phone

It arrived and seemed used/reconditioned!!There were several scratches, and it appeared that the USB had been used quite a lot.I had seen many advertisements for this on social media, and since I speak very little Spanish, I decided to buy one.First thing to know is in all the ads. It makes it look like this is an independent device to translate. However, it is nothing more than a microphone and speaker device that must be connected to your phone via Bluetooth.If I wanted to use my phone, there are plenty of great apps. The sound coming out of this device, when translating, was muffled and barely audible! It also would not correctly take my voice or translation.I believe it was faulty, but this is simply the worst product I have ever bought on Amazon.If you’ve seen the commercials for it, and you think it looks good, I think you’re going to be very disappointed. I have an upcoming trip and relied on wash I thought would be great to have in my pocket. Problem is in order for it to work properly. It would need to be connected to your phone and your phone connected to Wi-Fi. As a missionary, there is no way that this is going to be of any use.I hate to leave bad reviews but truly even if this device was not faulty I cannot imagine it would have been of much use.To the company that sold it, DO BETTER!And yes, I returned it within hours of it arriving.
