Great Shed!
This is a great shed. As you can imagine, it has a lot of wood pieces, and all were precut perfectly and it was all very good quality wood. Nice flat siding panels and straight, not twisted boards. I was really impressed! Even the instructions were well written, detailed and clear.

Its just ok
Missing pieces, no directions to move door to short side, wood all pretty warped.I ended up purchasing 2 - 2x4x8 and 2 - 2x4x10 to complete it.

What do you expect for $2K??
Although Handy Home Products is an American company, I am a little disappointed. This is the first wood shed I ever built. Don't be surprised that you will spend a couple hundred dollars more for good exterior grade screws, construction cement, exterior seam sealer, and such.Pack your patience, find a friend, or 2, that have some building experience, and remember; "They just don't build them like they used to". Their sheds only carry a 10 year warranty. Going into this with low expectations, your disappointment will be minimal. Preperation and planning are key - your sanity will thank you later. With experienced help, you can knock this out in 2 days. Otherwise, more like 4 days, just saying. I forgot something; check the length of each sick of lumber. Separate by exact length (they are not all true to length), ID them, weed out the worse boards before you start. Most of the lumber was OK. There were a few slightly twisted 2x4s, 2 very warped 2x4s (I had to go buy replacements-they were that bad), the exterior panels are very thin; not even a 1/4" thick, (do yourself a favor - read this manual before starting the shed project - put a BIG "X" on the pages that don't apply to your shed) the manual was a little confusing. There are a couple of shed sizes covered in the same manual. You might want to consider epoxy coated screws, with hex heads for rigidity and frame strength. Nails will absolutely split (and weaken) the pine lumber. Finally, go out and buy solid 2x4x10', 2x4x12', or 2x4x16' lumber for the top plates. Why, you ask? Everything, I mean everything, is packaged on a 4 x 8 pallet. Meaning: the 10ft, 12ft, or 16ft lenghts are in pieces that have to be "nailed" together. I purchased treated lumber for my sill plates even though this was built on a cement pad. Moisture will wick through untreated lumber. It wasn't all bad. The rafters and panels are pre-cut. You can use the wall panels to square the wall framing. That's a good thing, right?

Nice shed perfect for our needs
The media could not be loaded. Wow finally finished. Perfect for our needs. My husband and I put it up a few hours a day for at least a week. At the time the weather was cool but now 82 degrees and inside the shed is hot. We are looking to add vents in the gables. Read instructions way ahead of where you are at on your project too.

about 25 percent of the lumber was unusable due to warping and flaws in the timber
I ordered the 10 x 18 shed with floor, it arrived on time but was delivered by a small truck with no lift gate. The shed came nicely wrapped on two pallets. In order to get them off the delivery truck the pallets had to be dropped from about four feet to my drive way. The pallets were crushed from the weight of the shed, about a thousand pounds per pallet. There was some damage to the plywood corners but there was no way that we were going to get the shed back on to the truck. When I unpacked the pallets to check the damage many of the 2 x 4's were warped or had areas that were flawed on the tree. They implied that the lumber was choice grade but the quality control of assembling the order left a lot to be desired. I assembled the shed without too much difficulty after replacing the bad timber. You will need to add about $600 to add 2 windows, drip edge flashing, felt, roof tiles and paint. I needed about $80 of added cost to replace the bad lumber. Once I finished putting the shed together, the finished product looks and functions nicely
