Great Pen
I love Parker pens. This is no exception. Writes very nice. The weight is good, but not as the Urban pen I bought along with it. However, pen quality is there. Purchased this at a sale price that I couldn’t pass up.

Loved These Pens So Much, I Divorced My Wife So I Could Sign the Papers With Them.
These work well as my everyday, daily writing pens. The pen itself is easy to write with and the tip and ink produce a nice, defined style. I have had no issues to this point. My only con is that they are a little bit bulkier than the pens I normally used up to the point I purchased these. But it is only a minor complaint.

Great alternative to the Jotter
If the thin grip of the Parker Jotter is not for you, this is a great Parker alternative. The pen has a metal barrel and plastic grip section that unscrews to allow access to the refill. Aside from being wider than the Jotter, it is also about a centimeter longer.

Is there no perfect pen?
I bought this as a replacement pen for a nearly identical one that I have. I'll get to why in a moment, but I wanted to point out that the description of this pen states black pen with black ink. I received blue ink, but that doesn't really matter because I replace all Parker ink with an off-brand one that seems to be smoother than the expensive Parker brand ones. Go figure. Now to the pen itself: I'll be describing my experiences with my previous pen, which is exactly the same (save for color), unless they made any major advances in build quality in the past 6 months. I should also add that I'm not a sit-in-the-office-all-day kind of guy, so my pens get some heavy use. That's not to say I'm abusing $18 pens, but they probably get some unexpected wear & tear. The first thing that went wrong with my last Parker IM was a crack in the plastic where it meets the metal tip. I was able to patch this with some super glue, and that held for the duration of its lifetime (and still to this day).Next, the color of the blue shaft began chipping/wearing off revealing the silver underneath. Not sure if this will happen with this lacquer black one, and it wasn't a total deal-breaker, as it was still a nice pen. It just took away from the "executive look" it might have had. What killed it for me happened last week: the clip piece broke off. Not only did I have nothing with which to clip the pen into my pocket, but there was nothing keeping the pen from rolling off my desk. The Parker IM certainly doesn't seem to take well to heavy use. I'm not even a fan of the thickness of the pen in my hand, or how it's weighted. But when my first one bit the dust, I went ahead and ordered a nearly identical one. Why, I'm not 100% sure, but maybe that says something. On the other hand, Parker might just be in one of those bad relationships that you just can't quit.

Just another good Parker pen.....
Very nice. Wanted slightly larger diameter to make it easier to hold. Got exactly what I needed. Mtiple options as to both pen finish and refill style/size/color. Will be getting at least one more.

Not worth the money, look elsewhere.
I bought: The laquer black with chrome accents Parker IM.Pros: Not much. It's a nice size for my bigger hands. Otherwise very disappointing.Cons: fit and finish is sub-par for the IM line of pens; I was expecting better. The pen is lighter than the earlier IM models, doesn't feel as solid. The click mechanism rattles when the pen is being used, it's most grievous sin; it's going back. The "Parker" band is poorly made, obviously chromed base metal, not anywhere close to the quality shown in the product photos. The pocket clip is stamped.Unfortunately, the Parker IM pen line is not what it used to be; I have an older model from the Parker IM line, and while it's also disappointing, it's a far better made product than this.

After all, it's a Parker.
Attractive pen and writes smoothly. i have been using Parker writing instruments for over 50 years and they never disappoint. Have made it my daily-use pen.

Nice Pen
It is a nice pen for the price and I really like the color. I like something sturdier when doing my paper work and it is a nice fit.
