These bulbs work nicely with AC or DC and are true to color
I used these bulbs in my 7.5" gauge live steam locomotive and they do the job. The locomotive has a 3V A/C steam driven turbo generator to make power, or I can run them on DC battery. With the low amperage draw, the battery source will run them for a couple days! They work for cab gauge lights too. The warm white color replicates the old incandescent bulbs used on the prototype so I'm really happy with it. After several operating days, they all still work well and appear unaffected by the hot environment of a steam locomotive.

Nearly Omnidirectional Light
These bulbs have good light output in all directions, so they are great for applications where they will be viewed from the side. The color temperature is generally good, but not super consistent between bulbs.

Work great….I don’t know about “warm”
These work great in my vintage lantern that uses a square 6v battery. They are well made and seem very much like real light bulbs. I just think bulbs need a specific temperature rating because my opinion of warm white is not in alignment with people writing the description of many of the bulbs being sold, even these. They are soft enough to be comfortable but not “warm”. Just beware. Having said that I would buy these again.

Good replacement for a typical 6V bulb
I have a battery powered light in the shed that runs off 4 AA cells. I bought these bulbs because they use 1/4-1/3 the current as an incandescent light of the same size. I was hoping that they would look something like the old bulbs. In the fixture, they look *exactly* the same: same brightness, same warm white color, same omnidirectional light dispersion. I haven't tested all of them, but the first two I tried work well. Hopefully, they'll last a long time in this application.

Perfect for Itty-Bitty Book Light
Use the warm white with the Itty-Bitty Book Light. Works perfectly. These bulbs work with AC. The Itty-Bitty Book Light power supply produces 4.8 volts AC, not DC, so you need LED bulbs designed for AC voltage. These bulbs work perfectly, run cool, and produce a warm white that is nice for reading to sleep.

Great replacement bulb for stereo
Excellent product. Made my vintage Pioneer receiver light up like it was new.

BRIGHT Baby, Bright
The media could not be loaded. I have restored an antique stereoscopic viewer and the original mini light bulbs, though correct, seemed to be missing something. When I came across the MINI-LED bulbs, I thought maybe this might just make a difference, and indeed it did. A perfect upgrade for this viewer project, for years to come. Definitely a "Brighter" light than the "Warm" original bulb.
