Yup, these are the real deal. A genuine Mercedes oil filter for a much lower price than at an M-B dealership. I have been purchasing these filters on Amazon for nearly two decades. They arrive at my door without the hassle and added expense of a trip to the dealer. All of these filters work just fine and last a long time.Pay no attention to the few negative reviews and ignorant comments. Just like most all Mercedes-Benz vehicles, our cars and the components that go into them are manufactured in multiple countries. If we purchase this filter from our local Mercedes-Benz Parts Department, it could be made in China, Mexico, France, Germany or even the USA. It's a global world, folks... but these oil filters still look and work exactly the same.

So far, so good, looks to be completely original, which is what I wanted, and have not put it in my vehicle yet but of course, only time will tell.

This is a Chinese made part, not OEM Mercedes Benz which are all German made. It did not showed in the picture at Amazon: Made in China, as shipped Box has been relabeled. Pls go buy at Dealer, about $30$, made in France.

The box shows the right part number and it says that was made in France, but the filter has a different number 276 184 00 025 which is apparently also an acceptable filter number, but again the filter itself doesn't show where it was made. My earlier order had the 276 180 00 09 number, and it was written on the filter, that it was made in Germany. It is dubious where this filter was made. I will not order this filter again. I have just noticed that the brand is not Benz, but some unknown, maybe Chinese bran.
