Adorable!! Just wish the tag was fabric
These little diapers are so adorable!! We were only able to use them a short time before our child outgrew them, but it was worth it for the snap down umbilical cord. They're also super easy to use and clean. If exclusively breastfed, you can just throw them in the wash and everything comes right out! If there is a stain it's slight, and easy to remove by simply laying the diaper in the sun for an hour or so.We never had any issues with stains or smells. Just be sure to use proper detergent and a good wash routine. The fluff love university website is a great resource. They have a detergent index which I found extremely helpful in selecting unscented, plant based, and cruelty free detergents. They also have a washing machine index.. you just find your make and model and it will tell you which settings to use for your particular machine.Since these are all in one diapers they do take longer to dry, but that is to be expected. I didn't mind.. it was worth the convenience. I can't imagine hanging multiple inserts and stuffing diapers during the newborn phase! The orange diaper came with a tag that said "wash separately," so I called Kanga Care for more information. They woman I talked to was so friendly and helpful! Excellent customer service. She explained that some colors like reds and oranges may bleed the first time you wash them. It's usually not an issue but they put that label on just in case, since the color may transfer to other inserts. I only had 2 orange diapers so I just washed them with everything else and didn't have any problems.Another thing that's great about these diapers is that since they're only used a short time (and are adorable) they have a high resale value. Just saying. The only thing I do not like about these diapers is the tag. It's a thick, flexible plastic or something. It's awkward and can catch on things sometimes. I never had a problem with the lil joeys leaking around the tag, but one of my newborn covers did (see last picture). I wish they would replace it with a fabric tag.

Questionable Weight Range
These were okay for the 1-2 weeks that they fit. We were able to avoid some of the leaking issues mentioned by other reviewers by snapping the waist snaps onto the lower row; however, while they did great at holding in poop after this, they remained pretty lackluster at containing urine. Obviously, these aren't disposables; they need to be changed after each time baby goes, but these were struggling with that. By the time she regained her birth weight (8 lbs 5 oz), they were so tight on the loosest setting that they were leaving pretty bad indents on her skin. She has a pretty big tummy, but her waist/hips are incredibly tiny (hilariously so if I'm being honest). These fit where she's tiny, but were still leaving marks all over. Not sure if this was because she was crazy active and constantly rolling onto her side, maybe?Anyway, I found a post explaining how to "hack" AlvaBaby diapers for newborns. We'd gotten a few AlvaBaby and Simple Being, so I did that with both of them. It looks goofy compared to the normal snapping of the Lil Joey's, but it works so much better for us.I saw some people complaining about stains. Honestly, I'm not bothered by the stains. I figure that's just something that comes with the territory. But for those curious, this is how ours looked after the 1-2 weeks of use with only breastfeeding. We washed them inside out, using the "soak" and "heavy soil" settings on the washing machine with Dreft detergent and no bleach or Shout or anything. I did notice that the pocket diapers have stained much less after nearly 9 weeks of use in comparison without doing anything different, but that probably has something to do with how the absorbency works, I'm guessing? I wouldn't know.

Cute diapers but not my favorites.
I relied a lot on reviews to help me choose newborn cloth diapers so I'm going to try to write a helpful review. I like these diapers for my small (under 7 lb) newborn. These are really cute and small. They are also high-quality, and I love how soft they are. They also have an umbilical snap-down, which I love. What I don't love about them is how long they take to dry and that even though they're so small, they actually aren't as trim on my baby as I expected. I've been impressed with the inner gussets' ability to hold in exclusively breastfed newborn stools. We'll see how long the absorbency lasts us.My baby is currently 3 weeks old and we've been using these since we started cloth diapering her at 3 days old. They still work and are a solid choice. I don't think I've had a leak yet. But they are not my favorite newborn diaper (that would go to Blueberry simplex.)

Best Newborn Diapers
Little Joeys are some of the best constructed reusable diapers. We prefer these to reusables becuase:- they do not leak because of the vinyl(?) shell- they smell far, far less- they come in so many cute patterns. Far cuter than any disposables! I dunno about you, but I'll take what cuteness I can get at those 2am diaper changes!- they wash and dry really, really easily. Just throw em in the washer/dryer.- saves min $250/month net the cost of the diapers- disposable diapers are among the top components of plastic waste polluting our oceans and marine lifeOur kid while 5lb 12oz - 6 lb 6oz fit the smallest snap options.Prefer these slightly to Thirsties (because everything on the inside is sewn in) and deeefinitely to the GroVia Newborn (bc the GV, like the Thirsties, has a tongue, but it's semingly backward, getting in the way of the umbilcal coord snapdown feature)

Great since day 1
Great great great fit for newborns. Baby was born with 7lbs and this was a superb fit! Snap down for the cord was essential to keep it open to heal. Good soft elastic a around the legs which prevented leaks and made us cloth diaper fans since baby's day 1 - takes 80min more or less to fully dry in the drier so it's a fast turnaround between washing and drying: cloth diapering is easy if the diapers are good, dry fast and have a good leak free

Good for small babies, great price

This is an AIO, no pockets or need to insert abs, it works exactly like a disposable.

Pretty but small
Purchased as as an interim trial for my newborn who was a thin 8lb and found the nappies fitted tightly round legs and tummy - a little too snugly. So although they say up to 10lb I think we only used until 9lb as I wasn't comfortable putting on my little boy so tightly. We wanted small nappies as the other makes we have are too big but these were a little too small compared to the sizing they recommend.

Good Looking Item
Looked to be a good product and heard good reviews. But had to return as was a bit too small, so unfortunately can not comment on its usefulness/durability
