The Republic of TeaCuppa Chocolate Tea Assortment, 24 Tea Bags, Low Calorie Chocolate Dessert Tea

Just a heads up: don't go by the photo of the product here. It says that you will get five varieties of teas (five packets of most of them, four of the banana chocolate) but what you really get is six packets each of four different varieties: red velvet chocolate, coconut cocoa, peppermint chocolate and banana chocolate. I was bummed to not get to try the strawberry chocolate

All of these are AMAZING!!!!!! I'm so happy I tried them! They all taste fantastic cold brewed AND normal/hot brewed. None of them need sugar or sweetener unless you have a killer sweet tooth....and probably not even then!Red velvet chocolate: Gorgeous color, gorgeous aroma, wonderful taste! The chocolate and cream cheese frosting flavors blending together almost taste like caramel, but not quite. I think it might be the beets that lend the cakey taste, but I'm not sure. I was worried about this one tasting strange but it's my second favorite!Coconut cocoa: Literally tastes like coconut water sweetened with a little chocolate syrup. It's a very true-to-life coconut water flavor that I wasn't expecting from a tea! Most other coconut teas taste vaguely chemical-y, or they seem like they are trying to taste like coconut flakes/flesh. This tastes like actual *coconut water* but better!Strawberry chocolate: This flavor finally being in stock at my local hfs was the entire reason I bought the sampler! I splurged on it and I'm SO GLAD I did. It is my favorite tea of all time. This tea tastes like someone ran a chocolate covered strawberry through a juicer!Peppermint chocolate: This is mostly peppermint and vanilla with nice slug of chocolate in the background, so it tastes like mint chocolate chip ice cream. It has that same "creamy" mouthfeel of all peppermint leaf containing teas. Heaven! The flavors are so strong and sweet it's hard for me to detect the rooibos in this one.Banana chocolate: This one smells almost better than it tastes, and it tastes amazing! It has a distinctive banana candy flavor, with just enough chocolate. As much as people like banana candy and lip glosses, I'm surprised there aren't more banana flavored teas on the market. If you are more of a visual tea drinker DEFINITELY brew this one in a clear glass mug! It has a very unique dark yellow color that you would expect from a banana/cocoa tea. It isn't orange or brown, just a very intense and lovely golden! I'm not sure if this was intentional or from the dried banana pieces. Either way, it's beautiful. <3

This package has four different flavors of tea all are with chocolate. I bought it to try out the flavors. I wish they had a small sample package, because there is only one flavor from this package I will buy again.The Coconut is delicious! I will buy this flavor again, so good!The mint is good. It's pretty much the same as other chocolate mint teas I've tried.The banana is actually ok. I am not a fan of banana flavoring, but this is was ok.The red velvet is awful. One of the worst teas I've ever had. I was really disappointed. It has a bitter, weird taste, really bad!

This sampler pack has five tea bags of each flavor: Red Velvet Chocolate, Coconut Cocoa, Strawberry Chocolate, Peppermint Chocolate and Banana Chocolate. I used 7 oz of water to steep the teas and then added an ounce of unsweetened almond milk & one packet of splenda to each tea. Here are my reviews on the individual teas, from least favorite to most favorite:Red Velvet Chocolate - this tea tasted like a sweet rooibos tea. It was not really red velvet or chocolate tasting. However, still tasty. This tea is caffeine-free.Coconut Cocoa - this tea smelled of coconuts and tasted like chocolate. A mildly sweet tea, very tasty. This tea does have a low amount of caffeine in it. I have a sensitivity to caffeine and it did not affect me at all, so there can't be much caffeine in this variety.Banana Chocolate - this tea smells like just like chocolate-covered bananas with only a faint taste of either. Like the Red Velvet Chocolate, it tasted like a sweet rooibos tea. I still liked it a lot though. It was just decadent enough without being overly sweet. This tea is caffeine-free.Strawberry Chocolate - this tea was like drinking chocolate-covered strawberries. It doesn't smell so strong but it tastes amazing. I would definitely purchase this tea in a larger pack. This tea is caffeine-free.Peppermint Chocolate - do you like Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies, but feel guilty eating them? Then try this tea, because it is just like drinking a liquid version of a thin mint! This was by far my favorite tea. I ordered a full-size pack of Peppermint Chocolate and am already halfway through it. I will definitely be ordering this flavor again & again! This tea is caffeine-free.

After reading the reviews I was so excited to receive this tea. Who wouldn't want a chocolate flavored dessert tea? Unfortunately the taste and smell are so vile that it's completely intolerable to drink. Not a single flavor in this entire box has a single redeeming taste or smell. It tastes absolutely rancid and cloying. Ive had much better luck with dessert teas from other brands. Don't waste your money. It's absolutely horrid! I'm super upset I can't return this for a full refund and I'm certainly not going to gift this tea to anyone I actually like or respect. It's not a matter of personal taste, but more so a matter of bad ingredients. It belongs in the garbage. The only redeeming quality of this tea is the packaging which is really no different than any other tea. Don't buy this tea no matter how tempting it looks! It's awful 😖
