Awesome for Camp Counselors
I bought this during the summer to help tackle the heat of being outside for 7 hours a day. I have a hard time staying cool and this fan does just the trick.Pros- The battery on it always lasted me the day. I used it sparingly so it wouldn’t die. Just enough to cool me off and then I would put it away.- It doesn’t take long to charge, I would charge it over night. It fits perfectly in my backpack which is great for functionality.- The weight of it doesn’t really make a difference to me. It’s like a nice weight on your shoulders. Not too heavy and not super light that you forget it’s thereCons-It is noisy though on loud. I would have a hard time hearing people. I feel this is unavoidable though.- On high for all settings it would last me about 2 hours. What I love- The metal part that gets cold on your neck. This feels aaaamaaaazing. Like especially after sweating a ton it cools me right down.- I can share it with others! The campers when they were overheating would ask to use it and it was so easy to just take it out of my bag and turn it on.Things to keep in mind- if you’re going to use it on high take a power bank with you to charge it- it can be a little bulky but has some bend to it- if you can’t handle the sound of a fan in your ear then this isn’t for you

Life Saver In 100 degree weather!!!!!
I recently purchased the Jawhock Portable Neck Fan, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! This product deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The semiconductor cooling technology is a game changer; it provides a refreshing breeze without the noisy blades typically found in conventional fans. The lightweight and ergonomic design make it incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods, whether I’m gardening, hiking, or simply lounging around at home. I especially appreciate its versatility—being hands-free means I can easily multitask without feeling restricted. The battery life is impressive as well. With a robust 4400mAh capacity, I can use this fan for hours on a single charge, which is a huge plus during those sweltering summer days. The three speed settings let me customize my comfort level, and the cooling effect is immediate. I also love the stylish design; it looks modern and sleek, making it an accessory I don’t mind wearing in public. Overall, the Jawhock Portable Neck Fan has exceeded my expectations with its performance and practicality. It has made staying cool a whole lot easier, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable, portable fan solution!

My expectations might have been too high
The neck fan does everything it said it would but reading the reviews, I was probably expecting more that it could deliver. The main reason I got this was to keep me cool in my classic car that does not have A/C. The fan has three speeds and works very well. I have no complaints with the noise level. The neck cooler gizmo does cool my neck but it didn't make as big a difference as I was hoping for. A pretty short drive on a hot day was a bit more comfortable than usual. I used the fan and the neck cooler on one way and the fan without the neck cooler on the way back. The neck cooler did cool my neck but it didn't seem in constant contact with my neck so it wasn't as effective as it might have been but when it was against my neck, it did make a difference. The problem with using it is that it runs the battery down pretty quickly so it wouldn't be a lot of help on a long drive. The fans were nice but, and it's certainly not their fault, they circulated warm air. Again, an addition to the wimpy ventilation fan in my car but not a huge difference.Later I wore the unit with the fans on while installing a ceiling fan in our screen porch. It was a hot day and I'm sure the fans helped but it wasn't a huge difference. The battery life with just fans was very reasonable. One thing I'm disappointed with is that it won't work while it's plugged in to recharge. It would be a bit better if I could keep it plugged in while I'm using it in the car so I wouldn't have to worry about the battery.Again, the neck fan did everything it said it would do. The neck cooler was effective when it was contacting my neck.

Value and valuable
I purchased the Jawhock Cooling Neck Fan back in the blazing hot heat of a Midwest summer. I had the opportunity of finding & trying a Torras Neck fan back in the late winter. It was awesome, but I let a friend keep it despite the price tag on it. After lots of research, I found this, Jawhock neck fan. It seemed comparable but with a tenth of the price tag. I gambled and won. This thing is nothing short of awesomeness. It is durable, fairly comfortable (as any of these fans around your neck for 3+ hours would be) and with some battery training/conditioning, great life for all It does. The back plates are cold, even in 90+F heat. When you have the cold plates and fan on low, you get every bit of multiple hours depending on your environment. (I reached 2 hours in 116F sun with the plates on low and fan on medium immediately after I bought it. But 4+ hours a week later after much training and inside a 76F room and everything on high.)Personally, I find it lowers my body temp a fair amount. For awhile I was getting hot flashes for some odd reason and this cooled me off. I'd find a pregnant woman would find this invaluable. As a male who has worked outside all his life, I find it a good fit for extreme weather days...at least to keep the edge off.COMFORT = A+ (the blades bend as you turn your head and spread slightly as you put it around your neck.)STYLE = B+ everything is nice but the kind of goofy lights on the back. (I normally like colorful d.j.-kind-of lights, but why on the back?) It's different. But does it wear down the batteries?BATTERY LIFE= A (for all it does)NOISE LEVEL = A on low, you can hear everything fine. On high, the fan will drown out low noises, but you still could watch TV.OVERALL = A+ you're getting a top of the line fan for a tenth of the cost. Again, Value and Valuable.
