ScanSnap Fujitsu iX1600 Deluxe Color Duplex Document Scanner with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro for Mac and PC, Black

Bought this for my new law firm and it has been working well and integrated with my practice management software very easily.

We have several of these in our office. They are pricey, so we always wait for Prime Day or Black Friday when they're on sale. We have gotten the Deluxe one with 1 year of free Adobe Pro. This helps us out a lot since we need Adobe to be able to edit PDFs for our office. We have tried other scanners from other brands, but ended up returning those and got this Fujitsu in the end. One thing that is annoying is that there are constant updates to the scanner once or twice a week. I'm not sure what they're updating, since it's just a scanner. So be aware that there are constant updates that this scanner needs.Besides that, it scans perfectly and quickly. It has a receipt organizer so you can feed small receipts through. And automatically detects if the document is double sided or not. It's easy to fix any documents that get caught by opening the tray. And even large scans are done scanning on the computer within seconds. We don't have time to wait for scans to finish, so this scanner is quick and easy to use. I wish they did have a larger version for non-standard sized paper, as it only fits the regular A4 or 8-1/2 and 11" paper or smaller documents. We're trying to be more and more of a paperless office, so having a scanner next to the computer is helpful. Recommend getting this one, as it is the best out there.

only complaint is not being a nerd set up was confusing. however a phone # for support was available without searching for hours as Many companies try and hide support phone #. phone assistance was a native English speaker, did a fantastic job getting me hooked up. The thing is fast and permits many options. had previous Fujitsu scanner was excellent. new one offers more options.

I would say that the issue that I have with this is that when you connect it to a network with multiple computers in the house. it is very difficult between switching the computers. They need to make software to located it on the network and pair it with the computer you are one. At this moment, you have to know the IP address and force a location in the settings.If you were to use this on one computer using USB and then make the folder a sharing document would be the best way to go.Other than that, it works well. It works fast and I love the stupid thing.

Love this scanner. It is easy to use and fast.
