Perfect for getting RV's or trailers over the curb
I needed to add an extension to my driveway so I can back my RV into its parking space on the side of the house. I was a little hesitant to buy one at first since there's no load ratings listed anywhere. I decided to bite the bullet and bought 2 of them since they are to be of the perfect size for my curb height. They work perfectly. Yes, they are made out of hard plastic, but they are stiffened or gusseted underneath to handle the compression load on top. Being plastic, they are very lightweight and easy to move around. I've rolled my 12,000 lbs RV over these things without any issues. Avoid rolling your wheels on the edge of the ramp or it will slip off. Go straight up on it if possible, or bolt them together for wider surface.Note the notch on the ramp where it touches the curb. It's for drain water to pass thru should you decide to mount it permanently, but that notch also allows the ramp to mate up with curb that has a slight angle to them, a plus since some curbs are not formed straight.I'm going to order 4 more so I don't have to hop in and out of the RV to move the ramps around. They come with the steel bolt to connect them together. I suppose if you don't expose them to the outside elements, they should last a while. Not sure why these things got 1 star reviews from people either. They bought the items without reading all the description and their dimensions, then complained that they don't fit their needs. Just send them back, why the negative reviews?

Perfect!
Not sure what's with the poor reviews on this product. This product isn't for wheelchairs or elevation to get into your vehicle. It provides a ramp for your vehicle to get over a curb without damaging your wheels/suspension. This works perfectly for me to get my boat into and out of the RV space in my backyard. Previously my truck wasn't powerful enough to push the boat and trailer up the 5.5" curb, now it climbs right up the ramp with no problem. The ramps are light weight and made of a plastic composite material much like "rhino ramps". I'll admit they are a bit pricey but they're better and lighter then wood blocks!

PERFECT for CURBS
We now have 8 of these. We line them up to get our boat and trailer out of our RV pad. They work great. We keep adding to the system. Now it goes the whole length. We put ropes in one end and made handles for quick putting in and out. We don't leave them out because we don't want to have them stollen. They are durable and work great.

Helpful getting the RV parked
We bought only one ramp to extend the maneuvering area for parking our motorhome in the driveway. It is light enough for me to move/carry around easily but it has slid away from the curb a few inches the last couple of times we used it. We will have to take it slower I guess. The price was fair and the ramp meats our needs well.

Slippery
I tried using this for my dads wheelchair and it was very slippery on the floor.

Works like a champ for truck and trailer
This is exactly what I need to park my travel trailer which is about 7000lbs stocked. I put this ramp next to my driveway because only one side of my trailer drives up the regular driveway and the driverside has to go up a curb. I would not be able to park and pull out my trailer in my driveway without this. It can also absorb the full weight of my 2500 with no problem. I highly recommend it. Best of all it is not super heavy.

Short distance from entry lip to top makes the upward slope too sharp an angle for my scooter.
I purchased the 5in model in order to use it to get my mobility scooter over the 5in step from the garage into the house. Unfortunately the short distance from the leading edge to the top creates too high a grade to avoid scraping the bottom of the scooter going up. Any suggestions to modify this ramp with some wood etc. to lower the grade would be appreciated.I would like to add that it isn't the vendor's fault, because they described it as a curb ramp. I just want to warn off anyone one else who assumed, like I did, it would also work for scooters or wheeled chairs. Since then, I have learned that the ADA recommends a minimum ramp length of 2.5 feet for a 5 foot slope up an occupied mobility unit, and this unit is much shorter.

Lifesaver for walkers and wheelchairs
Purchased this to assist with a walker/wheelchair maneuverability issue with a curb. Works great, will purchase again. Very sturdy, yet easy to move if necessary. Fantastic purchase!
