We purchased a Heavy Duty Transport XXL to cover our two very large electric bikes which are always stored outdoors. It is generously sized for two large bikes, but we find it faster and easier to put it on than a closer fit. It is genuinely waterproof, the fabric is heavy weight, and it seems well constructed. It has four handles which also make taking it on and off easy, and well placed draw strings to snug it up. We are very pleased as we have tried a number of other ones that have not been waterproof.

2 things. Material way too thin to withstand highway speeds for very long, and the seams need better reinforcement. Mine is starting to split at the seams after 2 trips.Way too expensive for the quality. Looks incredible but won't hold up without some modifications.Edit. Moved down to 2 stars. If you are buying this to cover your bike(s) behind ANY moving vehicle, I highly suggest you continue shopping. The canvas AND Seams on this are just not durable. It certainly wasn't cheap but unfortunately it is built cheap!

Bought the 3- bike heavy-duty cover last July. Worked well throughout the winter, kept our e-bikes protected and dry. Last week we had a massive thunderstorm come through, and the next morning I noticed a small L-shaped tear in the fabric at a stress point. I contacted Team Obsidian through Amazon, they asked me to send photos of the tear, which I did.On Monday morning when they were back in the office, Team Obsidian issued a full refund. It was just that easy! Using the refund to purchase another identical cover.When you find a seller that stands by their products, you stick with them. Thanks for being a stand-up company, Team Obsidian. It's quite refreshing with so many bad actors out there.

So we already have the XL for two bikes and have been using it to cover our two e-Bikes (a Rad Runner and a Rad Wagon) on our RV bike rack. The XL was a tight fit and rubbed in some areas and worked for about 6 months on the road (12,000 miles) before it started to leak through… so we ordered a replacement and decided to get the larger XXL size in hopes we could use it easier when they are off the bike rack too. But this one seems shorter in length and is a super tight squeeze to get it on the Rad Wagon even all by itself on the ground. (The XL was/is easy to get on/off that bike alone)… so not sure what the issue is. We are going to try it on the RV rack when we leave this location and I hope it stretches/works, otherwise we’ve kept the old one to use and it will be too late to return since we needed to use it on the Rad Runner by itself before we realized it’s too short for the Rad Wagon.

We used extra straps to secure this item; no rips/broken zippers or problems. Fit 3 full sized mountain bikes. Easy to place and remove.

On very first usage of the Obsidian Bike cover, the back straps tore through, the grommets ripped out and the cover itself tore open and started to unravel. Please check out the photos. No customer support from obsidian for this product and Amazon offered a full refund. After a week of not receiving the refund, I called back and then was sent an email confirmation of the full refund without having to return the cover. After another week of waiting, contacted Amazon and they told me they could do nothing since it was out of the return period. So DO NOT buy unless you are using it for a dust cover in your garage. Very disapppointed with purchase and Amazon’s false claim of a refund. I would give it ZERO stars if I could…Update: Team Obsidian r reached out to me and completely refunded purchase price. Used this cover in 2 full size Ebikes. Traveling 1300 miles I had no issues. I did wrap this cover with an elastic net bungee to prevent it from flapping and causing additional wear. The manufacturer also extended the warranty to 5 years. Can’t be more happy with this cover!

I used the XXL heavy duty to cover 2 e bikes during my 6 hour move on the back of a Ford Escape. It started to disintegrate during the drive. By the time I arrived, a hole wore through the cover from running on the bike rack and most of the water proofing tape came loose. Also it appears that a lot of the black inside liner had flaked off. Maybe it would be better on the back of an RV with less wind hitting it.Update: cover works great on the back of an rv. Protected the bikes across the country and back.
