Good bike rack and vehicle protection in transit
Bought this kit for the bike rack, which partially blocks the trucks tail/brake lights. Easy install with the 3M tape, and quality connectors. Lights are LED, bright, and easy to see in daylight as well as dark. Adds extra protection from a rear end collision. Good quality and no problems on 13 hr trips. Plugs into factory plug. Tie up any extra wires to prevent snagging/dragging wiring damage. Holds up in the rain. Looks good. Would buy again if ever necessary. Worth the money.

So far so good.
These lights are foolproof, and plug and play. As long as you have a trailer hitch with 4 pin connector it takes seconds to install them. I've only had them for a week. I have 2 sets. Luckily, for me, they are the exact same size as my bumper reflectors, lengthwise, but not as wide. So, I installed 1 pair over the top half of the reflector. The reflector is still visible on the bottom. The 2nd pair I put on an old metal bar, and zip tied (releasable zip ties) and strapped to it to the bikes on the rack. It is really so much safer as you can see these lights, when my actual rear tail lights are blocked when the bikes are up. They have plenty of cord. And the plugs are color coded for left (blue) and right yellow). Also they have the L and R on the lights. Like I said foolproof. I also bought a splitter so I can use all 4 lights plugged into my 4 pin. And, I thinks its important to put a dab of the dielectric grease on all the electrical connections. I zip tied the extra cord under my car around the trailer hitch bar for the bumper lights and I wrap and zip tie the bar lights to the bike rack. It is a lot of cord. The lights themselves seem pretty bright, and they have a brake, running and signal light. There are 2 rows of led. At night, with my lights on, the top row is a running light and the bottom row is the signal. During the daytime, lights off, both rows of lights serve as brake and signal lights. I forgot to mention they use 3m adhesive. It seems pretty strong so far for my needs ( I'm actually impressed at how strong it is). Lastly the blue and yellow connectors screw together pretty snugly. Nice price. I'll update periodically. 6/25/2022 Update: lights still work. No issues with lights. But, as others have mentioned, where the cord connects to the light is very fragile and will crack. So, I put a dab of clear silicone over them. I have driven through the car wash several times since I installed them on my car, and the 3m is holding strong, and the silicone is keeping the wires dry. As for the lights themselves, the led lights are still working...all of them. However, as another reviewer mentioned, they dont get bright for brakes when taillights are on. Instead the bottom row lights up. But, it is not a problem for me, as I have my 3rd brake light up high and it is not blocked by my bikes anyway, and my brakes lights are somewhat visible through my bike spokes. These lights are just extra lighting for the drivers behind me. At night, trust me, it is very easy to understand that I'm pushing the brakes or signaling. During the day, both sets of lights light up for signals and brakes, and again, it is easy to understand what I'm doing (braking or signaling). If there is one thing I would love to see improved is their overall brightness increased a bit. 1/2023 update- both sets of my CURT lights still work without issues (lights I use for my bike rack, and lights I have on my bumper). Some reviews have stated these lights are too dim. However, I feel these are used in addition to my tail lights and 3rd row brake light. I have taken my bikes on vacation last year, and used my “homemade” light bar, and I have not had any issues at all, as far people understanding my signal/intent to change lanes or braking. As I stated, my 3rd row brake light, is very visible while braking. I have actually had a few people ask me about my light bar at rest stop. I have had someone follow me with the bikes on the rack, and my light bar attached, and they said although not super bright, they are noticeable/visible, and signal my intent. As far as the ones I put over my bumper reflectors, they are a nice “cool “ looking addition, and have held up, and continue to work as well. 3m adhesive has held strong, and the lights have held up to car washes, weather, etc.

Work great. Good value
These lights worked perfect for my application. I needed lights for a Kuat Sherpa bike rack that was blocking my vehicle’s tail lights. Let me tell you why they worked great: 1. They have a slim profile and fit on the edge rail of the rack perfectly. The 3M adhesive tape on the back holds them securely. 2. While I respect what others may have said about brightness, these lights are bright. The brake lights are clearly noticeable when the brakes are applied. The turn signal lights work great and are very visible. 3. I found the green and yellow connectors to be solid and of good quality. 4. There was more than sufficient cabling to plug securely into the 4 prong connector on my hitch. I ordered these with the idea that I would return them if not satisfied. There was no need to consider a return. These lights are a good value and just what I needed.

Great Plug n Play small Trailer/Bike rack Light Set
I was extending my bike rack to four for a 2K+ mile race and figured lights were a wise play. My new SUV came with a 7-pin but after weeks of searching, this 4-pin CURT light set was the ONLY fully wired game under couple of hundred. I pared it with a WOFTD Trailer Plug Adapter 7 Pin Round to 4 & 5 Flat, and because my Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack doesn't have any flat surfaces, I mounted the sticky tape lights to a PVC moulding then velcro strapped that to the rack for east install/removal. Once I configured the mounting, the light setup was simple and it functioned great. My only complaint is that the one row of LEDs out of two that blink for directional can be a little less than ideal in daylight. You'd think they would blink both rows. Overall though, great value, easy setup, and they survived the first test of a 2300 mile trip through New England road salt and South Carolina rain & mud, protecting $30k in exposed bikes from insane drivers along the way.

Nice, bright and easy to install
I bought these to add to my hitch mounted bike carrier, so I was sure that my brake lights and turn signals could be clearly seen with a bike on the rack. They are perfect for the job. They are light enough that instead of drilling I was able to attach these with heavy duty all season velcro. I have driven through driving rain and they held just fine. They are also quite bright and are easily seen in daylight. These were the perfect add on tail lights for my needs. One caveat. They handle brake lights and turn signals but they do not work as back up lights. This is fine in my case as my trucks back up lights are more than sufficient even with the bike on the rack. I only mention this so that people are aware.

Great lights
I have no complaints. Part shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. I installed a bike rack on my Ford Escape. These lights are installed on the rack. There lights came with 3m tape but I did not trust that to stay in place. I zip-tied the lights to the rack. My wife and I drove from South Dakota to Washington state through rain and snow. We had no issues with the lights. Very happy with this purchase.

Moto rack safety
I added this to a motorcycle rack that lives on my truck 24/7 because the dirtbike will somewhat block the rear brake lights. I live in Az. and installed them back in April of 25 and theyre still working fine with zero issues. Super easy to install and for the cost, its really a no brainer.

I ordered these LED indicating lights to install on a bicycle rack. The adhesive back made installation easy. I hope they are water proof. The lights are bright enough and should prevent rear end collisions. The four pin plug fits my car plug. The LED's indicate turns, braking and running lights.

This product does EXACTLY what it was deigned to do! It saved me $1000.00+ by not having to upgrade to a bike carrier with lights. For all the haters, that want blinding LED performance, this product is an AUX light system. I've been behind my truck (with the new AUX lights installed on the bike rack) and the Mrs. driving it. Visibility of the lights is just fine from the lane(s) of traffic behind my truck durning the daylight. At night, blinding bright LED for sure. For an AUX light system I'd give this product 6 stars if I could. For others, light bars or lights that require drilling likely are the way to go. Installation is just to simple for these AUX lights. For people with folding bike racks, I'm betting you'll be happy with this very inexpesive solution
