I gave this slider mat 5 Stars as this is the 1st one I have ever used. It was a bit too big for my Brother CS6000i, but I decided I would rather have it too big and cut it down than to not have it big enough.As you can see it was easy to cut down (I kept my feed dogs down), and cut out an area large enough to access my bobbin area to change thread as I needed) so I wouldn't have to peel it off every time I needed more thread. I feel like it worked as it should have and would purchase again.I was able to lift it off my machine and reposition without too much difficulty, but it is sticky (no residue) so it is tricky to get the sides down where I wanted them. As you can see it hangs off of my slide arm, but that did not catch on my quilt/playmat so I had no problems with it being too long.The price was fair, so I am pleased with my purchase.

Quilting sliding mat my mom is a big quilter and needed a new sliding mat so she could cut her fabric the way she wanted to this was perfect for her and very easy to use

I cut the hole bigger so it would clear the feed dogs and allow me change the bobbin. Then, I cut the mat to fit my sewing machine bed and taped the edges down. After that bit of fussing, the mat works better than the two others that I tried because the fabric moves easily when I quilt and the mat stays in place.

Horrible… It is almost impossible to position the mat without it sticking to everything. The glue on the back is to strong, almost like packing tape glue and the mat is as thin as packing tape. Also, be careful not to cover your bobbin area, or access to the inside of your machine. You have to cut the mat to fit your machine…. while it’s sticking to you and anything else it touches. Forget lining up the ruler, or having the ruler straight. I also had a really bad time trying to get the mat back on the film it came off of. DO NOT BUY.

Not easy to lay it down. It tears easily. It didn’t stay stuck down in places for long once I got it down. I need to replace it, but hesitant to do so. I’m not sure it’s worth the money. I think if 2 people were to install it, it may be worth it.

Overall I am satisfied so far with this product. My fabric slides across it. It covers the hole from my machine seated inside my desk. It's a little tricky to install and line up the grid exactly and I had to cut the hole bigger for my bobbin. But it helps provide a guide for stitching straighter which is what stands out to me versus other mats I have thought about purchasing.

This mat really clings to the machine table. No lifting as you move fabric over it. Fabric glides smoothly. Loved the way it was packaged. No creases. Great value for price.

Needed to customize size to keep it from grabbing and sticking to my quilt. After cutting to size, when I removed to store, it tore. Not worth the cost for one use.
