Great design and excellent functionality. It properly isolates the heat when I drink mate or tea. The filter works great; it does not get clogged, and I never ingested particles of yerba. I highly recommend it.

Perfect item when you have tea not in tea bags

Has been a perfect replacement for my aged bombilla.

Cheap, poorly made. The bulb has HUGE holes that both allow chunks of mate though and make it difficult to drink mate from the bottom. Also the bulb seems to be tarnishing which indicates that it's potentially not stainless steel. DO NOT BUY

Ended up buying some Chimarrao and had a lot of issues with my Bombilla clogging. did some research and found that these types of Bombillas (Bomba) are tailor made for Chimarrao. Let me tell ya, no more clogging and i'm able to enjoy my erva mate with no issues now!!Cleaning this is still a pain. but that is with any straw that is reusable. usually toss it in the dishwasher. once a week i'll clean with a brush that can go inside straws.
