Programing is ok, manual is actually.pretty great. There are detailed descriptions of each parameter further back. Just remember it's all set to metric at 50hz, so convert hp to kw. If you understand basic 3ph and motor theory you'll be fine.

The manual is poorly translated and lacks clear instructions, making it difficult to get the VFD running properly. After hours of troubleshooting and researching online, I was finally able to get it working, but even then, it didn't seem to deliver consistent performance. The spindle speed fluctuates randomly, which affected the precision of my work.Additionally, the unit tends to overheat under heavy loads, which is concerning for long-term durability. It works decently for light tasks, but it’s not reliable for anything that requires consistent power over extended periods.For the price, I expected a much smoother experience. I bought from here because I wanted a low price unit for small project at home. The motor works because I removed it from a working machine. But I wasn't able to get the vfd to make the motor do anything. I had a friend with vfd experience try also and they weren't able to make anything happen either.This is my 5th vfd (1st off this site) so I'm familiar with getting them set up. This vfd didn't have a setting for nameplate info off the motor, which is either odd or automagic.I guess I'll return it and buy one from an industrial supplier. ??

This unit will not work for permanent magnet ac motors.

I owned one of the dark grey VFDs but it got wet. I like this one much better. Comes with a well written user manual
