I got this cap because my hair is longer than it’s ever been in my life and I didn’t want to cut it! Plus, I’m recovering from shoulder surgery. Holding my left arm up for very long to do braids or buns of my bum length hair can be quite painful! Then, in the mornings, the working through tangles really ate into my time. This solved everything better than this 62 yr old gram could have hoped! The picture shows my hair immediately after taking the cap off this morning before brushing! My hair was smooth and tangle free. The Mulberry silk seems to have added more shine as well!I’m not much of a hat wearer, but this is extremely light weight, and even has an adjustable band for the perfect fit! My gram had EXTREMELY long hair (knee length) in her final years and now I can too!Thank you for such a marvelous product! I’m immediately going to order a spare!

This cap is a lovely soft pink color. It is very comfortable and stays in place even if you toss and turn at night. It keeps my hair frizz free and nice between washes. It also keeps my head at a nice temperature all night long. I am a little upset that it got stained and some pilling in the wash because I was not present when my partner decided to do the laundry and accidentally put this cap in the washer AND the dryer (the horror!). I am not sure what happened, but there is now an ugly blue stain on the cap and it isn't as soft and silky as when it first arrived (boo!). It is still in good condition despite the harshness it faced in the washer and dryer because my partner at least had the decency to put it in a lingerie bag before trying to completely destroy it in the washer and dryer. As long as you don't make the same mistake, the cap should stay its same lovey color and texture.

I only gave this 4 stars because I can feel the band around my head. I have another sleep cap that doesn't bother me at all but this one does stay in place well. I have wavy/curly hair, am in my 50's and was sick of awaking to a frizzy mess. This cap keeps the frizz away and I can straighten my hair the day or night before and wake up to straighter hair instead of a frizzy/curly mess. It's nice and warm but I might not like it in the summer because I have hot flashes.

Beautiful color (dk orange) soft outer cover with silk on the inside. Adjustable band. Very comfortable.

I like the cap but prefer the inside be double silk. It is adjustable and good to protect hair in wet weather, cold temperatures and wear overnight. My only issue is it fits like a hat and the inside silk is thin.

This is the third one of these I have bought from this company. I love them. The real silk on the inside is gentle enough on this old white lady’s dry brittle hair to reduce breakage. And great for distribution of the oils on days I apply extra in an effort to moisturize. The best thing is that the wlestic strap to tighten it to fit my head is on the outside of the band rather than the inside like you normally see. This is good for helping (not eliminating just helping) latex allergies as well as further reducing breakage.

Bought because I have wavy hair and it's dry, dry, dry all the time. I use co-wash. Never use a hairdryer or heat process. Use leave-in conditioners. Doesn't matter. I thought this hair cap could help. I notice that when I wake up in the morning (without the cap) my hair feels dry and it's just a mess. I have a pure silk pillowcase, and that hasn't changed much. But, with this cap... I feel like change is possible! Used it two nights in a row. Now instead of the unruly mess I usually wake up to, my hair was smooth. I washed my hair late evening last night. I put the cap on when my hair was just slightly damp still and it looked good this morning. This feels like a game changer. I've been trying for years to grow my hair longer and I think it may now be a possibility. Also, it does not slip off or down during the night. It does not leave a mark on my forehead and there's nothing for my hair to catch on. If this thing lasts me a year it was well worth it.

I was madly in love with this item it arrived damaged and didn't have a little thing saying whether or not it was silk but I don't care it was an amazing little cat and I felt grateful that Amazon refunded me considering it was damaged upon arrival however I still wore it and my only word of caution other than the fact that it's an amazing hat and I would still be wearing it to this day every night because I've tried to silk pillow then I fell out of bed and broke my jaw so this was amazing however I took a shower and dried my hair and put this cap on and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning I could not hear out of one of my ears apparently I had trapped water in my shower in my ear and the cap covered my ears and closed of the hole making it a a breeding ground for bacteria and I ended up in the hospital with an ear infection. But I don't want anyone to be put off from buying this I just want to say a word of caution just be careful and make sure that your ears are free of water before putting them on to sleep because they can close up the bottom of the ear trapping the water if you're not careful and I was not careful and that's on me but I would be remiss if I didn't let anybody know that that's a possibility and to be careful and to buy this cap because it's fantastic. I haven't worn mine since my ear infection probably simply cuz I was shocked and confused. And I lost my hearing for a month and a half. I'm a singer and a musician so it did scare Me however what happened was nothing to do with the cap as much as might not being aware enough as to make sure that I did not have water still in my ears when I went to bed. So that's all I have to complain about other than that silk or not it feels like silk even though it didn't come with the little Swatch to compare and test my hair was beautiful no frizz nothing. Fantastic product just be careful about your ears :-) enjoy having beautiful frizz free hair with all the hassle of a pillow that might slide you right out of bed in the middle of the night LOL it's also really a great cat that you could wear in public especially if it's a bit rainy outside and you want to protect your style or the integrity of your hair and not let it get wet and frizzy and you don't look like you're wearing a shower cap when you're doing things outside of the house. So this is a darn good product I'm only reviewing this to make sure everybody knows it's great not to worry about it if you don't get a Swatch it doesn't mean they're being not forthright because you're still getting the same benefit as silk so I suspect it really is silk. I'm just traumatized by the ear infection so I haven't been wearing it. It is way worth the value for the price and I hope to get back to wearing it I'm just a little scared LOL so my takeaway is get this cap just be careful about water being trapped in your ears and the way the Cap May cover your ears etc even keeping them on top of the ears and keeping it too tight could still close up the ear. So buy them but be kind to your ears :-) seriously don't hesitate get this but be careful of how tight you wear it etc because no one needs to lose their hearing for a month and a half and try to explain in the emergency room why the water was trapped. They didn't want to know that they didn't care LOL but it was definitely the reason I had to be in the hospital. So where at your discretion purchase without fear and be careful for your ear ;)
