This is the best Tea on the planet! And that's just science! :). But seriously, everyone that's ever tasted it loves this "Candy Cane" combination of teas. I am sooooo happy I found it for sale, year round, online! I can now order it in bulk to keep the tea as the constant go to drink at our house, and that brings me joy each day (which is saying a lot because I have a particularly difficult life situation) . See, it used to be that each year I had to wait until Christmas season rolled around to let the great Cady Cane Tea hunt begin. Through the years, this tradition became more of an obsession as I would systematically scour all the local stores in search of any retailers that dared carry this treasure. Then, without a single shred of social responsibility or a concern of how it might look to others, I would snag up every box of the tea from their shelves and shamelessly begin questioning each store employee about the possibilityof getting my hands on any potential hidden back stock. Then the final phase of my diabolically thorough plan would consist of doing a daily creepy level stalking of the stores to see if they had tried to sneak some hidden back stocked boxes of MY TEA past my greedy, hording, pillaging efforts, in their musguided, futile attempt to offer MY TEA to any of the less dedicated and determined customers who might like a chance to buy it, but clearly didn't deserve it like I did! Fools!! They didn't know who they were messing with!! This is love!! ALL THE CANDY CANE TEA IS MINE!! MINE!! ...... Then I found out I could buy it here, online, whenever I want, however much I want. Needless to say, things have changed for me. I am in the process of deprogramming from my self inflicted Yule Tide Insanity, and re-learning to be the the calm, pinky-linking, socially conscious, tea loving hippy that is at the roots of my story, and who I am. Yes, I do still have a special storage area in my home dedicated to my personal stock of Candy Cane Tea which I visit each day to count the boxes, smell the goodness, and reassure myself that it's all going to be okay, as I make another batch of the yummy goodness. But this is my road to sanity, and I'll take it.

This is one of my favorite flavored teas!! I ordered several boxes because I feared I wouldn't find it anytime other than fall. This is one of my "go to" teas. Love it!!

I've been drinking this tea for years every winter, but it can be challenging to find. It seems each year different stores carry it, and I can't find it in the same store year to year. I definitely have to go hunting for it. I was glad to find it on Amazon. It's the very same tea. The box and the flavor match.Two complaints I see in reviews here are that taste is not very strong and people were wondering why the product is not wrapped in plastic like it is in the stores.As far as my experience, the flavor is the exact same. It is a light tasting tea. I don't know what the expectations of people were who said it has very little taste. Maybe they're black tea drinkers and like the boldness of black tea. That this tea is not. It's in a lite peppermint taste with vanilla. When I add a teaspoon of honey to it, it's like drinking a candy cane.As far as the packaging, there is a circular piece of tape that needs to be removed before opening a box. The boxes are not wrapped in plastic like you find them in the store. Celestial seasonings is really green company and they probably don't wrap the boxes in plastic for that reason. They wrap the ones sold in a grocery store with plastic because ripped plastic would reveal if the product has been tampered with while sitting on the shelf. As a green company, they probably think there's no reason for the plastic wrap when the product goes from warehouse to consumer. That would be my speculation. And even when you buy them in the store, the individual teabags are not wrapped.

This is for the Gingerbread Spice, and the Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride.Seriously, brew these with Trader Joe's Spicy Chai Latte Mix. It tastes like you're committing a crime._____I'll supplement with a more in-depth review:The Gingerbread Spice is insanely aromatic, potent already in the box. I'm typically not even one for this flavour-profile as it's so omnipresent during the cold seasons. That and there's a tendency for it to smell like a cheap candle. Not so with this tea. Whether flavoured with a generous serving of honey and a splash of milk, or, as I've recommended above, brewed in an already-mixed serving of Chai Latte, it basically yields a rich, syrupy, cinnamon pastry that you can both sip and inhale. Or as Edward Norton in "Glass Onion" said, "inbreathiate".The Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride on the other hand has an appropriately less complex flavour and aroma. I brew this the same way as I do the Gingerbread. If I wanna go heavier, I go with the Chai. If it's a morning brew, I go with honey and milk. Thankfully it isn't "just sweet". The barley lends depth, and the orange peel I detect as actually more of a lemony vibe. Just the barest hint, a bright, flowery note, not ever verging on cleaning-product, for those who aren't a fan of citruses.Both these blends bring about a deep sense of warmth, comfort, and familiarity, on top of that feeling of naughty indulgence.They really offer bang for your buck :)

I've grown accustomed to having this tea every Christmas for most of my life. Nice delicate seasonal flavor, without caffeine. Everyone in my household has it a little differently - me with sugar, daughter with milk, son likes it plain, grandma pours it over ice - but we all enjoy it. So upset when it became difficult to find, and so thrilled to find it on Amazon.

The flavors are good except for the sugar cookie flavor. I hate to say that it is the worst herbal tea I've ever had.
