Q: What is the thickest banner it can hold in the groove?

Don’t recall a groove we used this to hang a large banner for church organization & w COVID it has been locked away (our banner was seen into a dowel Rod approx 36” wide and banner height was 48” tall.

Very easy to use, adjustable to 95.6 inches

Yes, it can. The height of this poster stand can be adjusted

Q: What is the smallest banner it can hold?

We use it for mounted posters. Maybe 8x10 is the smallest? It is one of the best holders we have used!
