So far so good
I love this laptop so far. Pretty easy to setup just make sure all your drivers are up to date. I've played darktide, forza Horizon 5, and need for speed unbound so far all without missing a beat on high quality settings. Constantly getting 80-100+ fps. Battery life sucks but oh well. Great laptop for what I paid

I was sold an used computer as new
The media could not be loaded. First i purchased a new computer but when it arrived, right out of the box the compure started malfunctioning and shutting down. So i checked up with dell first and it appears the licence was activaded a year ago and there is already a report for a year ago for the same problem. I had to send the computer back but i lost about 400 dollars on import taxes and the shipping back fee. Im very diapleased with both the seller. And amazon

Great laptop
Get warranty. Laptop bios was defective day one but I disregarded it. A little over a year, it’s now out of manufactures warranty and I’m left with a 1500 dollar brick.

Best 1800 dollars I spent
Naturally once pc gaming hooks you won't be able to go back to handheld or portable gaming from a high powered desktop but this alienware with an r9 5900HX and rtx 3070 is a desktop replacement.Let's talk about heat.....the 5000,6000 and 7000 series cpus by design are suppose to consume as much power and get as close to the tjmax as possible in order to maintain higher frequency, 85c is not overheating and neither is 92c....your processor should be able to achieve maximum performance at 95c all day long without damage, once it hits closer to 100c and stays there (which it wont) that is where damage is likely to occurNow off the bat originally dell locked down the gpu but that has been fixed now we have all of the gpu to utilize, and first batch units had issues where the second m.2 heatsink was not included but that has also been remedied.Of course something of this power gets hot, I definitely reccomend that you invest in a laptop cooler especially if you aren't willing to repaste or switch to liquid metal off the rip, The cooler master u2 and u3 are great options. This computer is made of a metal alloy and all together can be quite heavy in a Targus slim laptop bag but it barely fits with a charger, mouse and laptop cooler assemblyReally my largest complaint is that dell requires you to run the fans at full speed in order to combat the heat a higher watt load would put off but if you don't care or aren't using frequency sensitive tasks you can disable turbo boost and that will bring the laptop down to acceptable temps overall at the cost of performance
