Made this novice look good!
I used this tool to etch my “logo” into the wood of my kit-built guitar. I’ve never done anything like this before, and it makes me look really skilled! This is the size of a large pen, unlike a Dremel, and so is far easier to use freehand without a jig or stand. Great for home hobby use, possibly not heavy duty enough for more professional stuff.

Good tool
Very handy pocket size rotary tool for when it's inconvenient to bring my pendant or micro motor with me.

A God send for modelers .
Brilliant for us modelers .. i used to sit for hours sanding down the model "over plastic" areas from the casting .. As per picture ,hand file sanders take ages .Rough surface will be produced by either method but is soon filled with the primer coat .I spent 30 seconds doing the same job on the model to remove the plastic , no real pressure needed , These are NOT carbide tips which would just eat the material .. gentle removal and so quick !Tips for plastic .. they will last .. i doubt they will on many other materials .. not high quality but what do you expect for the cost !Tungsten carbide tips would be better for more harder materials .Down side .. bits are held in place by X2 allen key screws .. they don't feel very strong so i suspect this is the weak point if you replace the tools many times .. nip them up and DON'T force them tight i would have to say .Perhaps a mask is needed .. i was a bit close and i could smell the plastic .. or perhaps just don't get as close as i was !!!Over all .. it you make models , 1/35 in my case , then this is well worth it , i bought the kit with the extra drills which i have yet to use but the small one looks useful to be honest .

Works well as an engraver on softish materials
The tool is easy to charge up and the tools fit well in the chuck. If you want to engrave plastics or wood then this is the perfect tool. The saw blades are really only suitable for cutting card - but scissors are quicker and easier. I tried cutting wood and sheet plastic but the saw struggled with 3 mm basswood (lime wood) sheet and 2mm PVC sheet. The drill bits do drill holes very quickly but because of the flexibility of the very long bit, the hole ends up nearer 2mm wide. If you just want a hole then this is fine but if you want an accurate 1mm hole then this is not the correct bit - you need a more rigid one but it must have a 2.3mm diameter end to fit in the chuck. To sum up, the tool does engraving in many modelling type materials but the additional tools (saws and drill bits) are not very useful.

Poor
The idea is great and the promotional video on Amazon looks great. However, when you try to scribe anything it slows down and stops if you apply any kind of pressure. This make it useless for anything other than shallow marking on soft wood. Useless on pebbles and I've not even attempted glass. The shaft on the cutting/grinding/marking bits is very small so you can't use multi-tool bits from a Dremel.I can't be bothered to return it and I'll just put it down to a schoolboy error.

A part is missing and the instructions provided with the item differ from the item
I have not been able to use it as yet as the allen key required to secure the grinding heads was not supplied. On the instructions no mention is made where the allen key needs to be inserted.

Handy little item
I find this little gadget most useful. I’ve had others in the past and have got through multiple batteries so the rechargeable aspect is great . I can also fit some of my previous drill bits & buffers to it .Happy purchase .
