I initially bought two of these for my kit, as my streaming and podcasting grew, I order four more for our group sessions. Thet are very sturdy and lightweight and leave a small footprint. We have found that these cool little mic stands are not overbearing, nor do they intimidate our guest.

I can't vouch for holding a microphone, but this is the perfect height to hold my new HDTV antenna and set on a high shelf for better reception. Included a cable clip to tidy the coax cable. Simply rotate or move around a bit to improve any stations that aren't coming in as well. The metal base is heavy and keeps it sturdy.

The base is a heavy, solid metal, as well as the bar. The clip is plastic, it feels chintzy like it might break from the force of the spring. The clip can't be secured to the stand, which is a design flaw. The mic flops around when you move the stand if it is not balanced. I had to put a rubber band around the clip to secure it. There's also no way to tilt/lock the mic. There should be a screw on the side so you can angle the mic where you want it. The clip doesn't have rubber grips either, so the mic slides out of position frequently. It's still a decent stand, definitely better than what I had before which was nothing.

If you wanted something that's not likely to fall over easily of this height, this is great. I picked out the heavier one of this type for security in knowing my valuable equipment is going to get knocked over. The extra pound or so is worth it as protection to the equipment just like a heavier bag is worth it to better protect your stuff. Even when being hit by something the heavier base keeps my equipment in place.Very happy with it.

A good stand, sturdy. Not good for someone who is going to be banging around on the desk because it has no shock protection.

So happy I went with this mic stand it is heavy and well built and holds my mic with no problems. I was not sure my mic would fit the holder but it did and it’s nice and solid and don’t slip in or out the holder. Get this one

The microphone stand is exactly what I needed and at a great price, however, the mic holder that was packaged with the stand came already broken out of the package not one one I ordered, but on both that I ordered. I contacted the company to get replacements mic holders which are Extremely cheap and flimsy and not what was pictured at all. The customer service representative said they could not replace jus the mic holder and asked that I send both packages back for a replacement. Unfortunately I don't have time for this process before I need to use them, so I ended up buy9ng replacements myself. Thanks PYLE!

Pyle seems to be the only mic stand that has at least a 6 inch solid base, easily adjustable upright stand and can easily break down for transport, universal heavy mic holder. Made to last! Keep up the great work Pyle
