VERY pleased!
I didn't grow up in the Southern US, so I'm new to boiled peanuts. I was introduced to them MANY years ago, and really liked them, but had some REALLY bad experiences with the ones I'd purchased from gas stations/convenience stores. BAD experiences, OK? So not too long ago I happened upon some YouTube vids of how easy it was to make boiled peanuts at home. The video talked about the differences between GREEN and RAW peanuts, and focused on how quickly green peanuts would spoil if not consumed almost immediately. While raw peanuts will last a bit longer, they too will spoil if they sit for too long after cooking. Being ever the cautious rookie, I decided to make my first attempts with raw peanuts, so I started looking at all the options. Overwhelmingly, Amish Eco-Farms got great reviews for the quality, freshness, and cleanliness of their product. Yeah, cleanliness - nearly all the vids I watched emphasized the importance of washing the peanuts before cooking them, and yeah, that's a thing you should ALWAYS do.Before ordering these, I tried both green and raw peanuts from local grocery chains, and was kind of overwhelmed at how much dirt came off the peanuts during the initial wash. So much so that I felt I needed to wash them again - several times - before I felt safe enough to cook them for consumption. Not so with the peanuts from this provider; the initial wash barely yielded ANY discoloration of the rinse water, so I immediately felt better about this product. Since that first small purchase, I've gone through three 5-pound bags, and found that this 25-pound option was significantly cheaper. They arrived at my home just two days after ordering, so VERY pleased at their ready availability as well. All said, I'm very pleased and happy with the product I've gotten from this provider.

This is excellent way for squirrels đżď¸ in the ghetto to be fed.
This is great for ppl who live in the ghetto. The squirrels đżď¸ are underfed. In the suburbs squirrels đżď¸ get enough to eat.

Home Is Where the Peanuts Are
Living in Georgia with kids spread out in Colorado and California, I wanted to send them a little taste of home for the holidays. I may have slightly misjudged how much 25 pounds of peanuts really is, but heyâwhen life gives you peanuts, you boil them!We turned whatâs usually a late summer tradition into a Christmas surprise, sharing boiled peanuts with family and friends. The quality was fantasticâjust as good as any Georgia peanut Iâve hadâand the seller made it easy to bring a bit of the South to our holiday celebrations. If youâre looking for a nostalgic treat or just want a ton of peanuts (trust me, itâs a lot), these are perfect!

Good for boiling
These raw shelled peanuts was great for boiling during the holidays. Only reason I didn't do a 5 star, is because the peanuts had alot of cracked shells .

Very Reasonable Cost
I grew up in the Shallow South (below the Mason-Dixon Line) & spent many days in Amish country. No matter what I bought, products were of the highest quality. The same is true with these peanuts.I have bird feeders across my yard. My nemesis was the squirrels who, even with multiple baffles per feeder, ate bird food. So I put up a feeder for them which I fill with urban critter food. Every other day or so I supplement that with peanuts. After several false starts, I found the Amish 25# peanuts were not only the most cost efficient but also the ones my squirrels best like. The cost is $65 & lasts me 6 months. About $10 a month, itâs a steal. And my former nemesis never invades my bird feeders. In fact, theyâve become my friends, right along with the birds who no longer compete with squirrels for food. A win all around!

Terrible even wildlife refuse
I have bought this product three times. The second time I bought it it was very difficult to get the wildlife to even eat it. The third time I bought it, they wouldnât even come close to the product. Not even the possums the squirrels, the crows or raccoons will eat this product. Unable to return it. Will never purchase again.
