Exactly What I Was Looking For At A Good Price
This is a very simple, yet functional half case for the a6300. The a6300 is a very compact mirroless digital camera. Therefor, it has a small hand grip which can be a little hard for some to hold. I wanted something that would not completely cover the camera, yet, would give me some extra real estate to hold on to. Their are a number of these half cases on the market... some made of PU material and some are real leather. The ones that I have seen in leather sell for $60 - $100... which I felt was more than I needed to pay. This half case claims to be real leather and sells for $20. I am not sure if it is real leather or not... it feels like it is, but honestly, it doesn't matter. The fit and finish are excellent and it certainly fits exactly like the seller says it does. It has a plate in the bottom (covered) so won't scratch the bottom of the camera when attached. I have read some criticism that the brass screw that attaches the case to the body uses the tripod hole at the bottom. I didn't find this to be an issue as our tripod still works fine... that may not be the case for others. The case will definitely protect the bottom of the camera and a little of the back and of course the side where the grip is. The the manufacturer uses a brass snap to open and close the battery/SD Card cover. Nothing wrong with that and I found it non-intrusive. All-in-all, for $20 this is a nice find and I would purchase it again. Just be aware that these half cases do add a little bulk to the camera and a little extra weight. Again, for me, that is fine as the camera is small enough as it is and a little weight and bulk is not a big deal.

Fits my new A6400 perfectly
FOUR AND A HALF stars, actually. Improves my grip on the camera. I'd give it 5 stars if the SD card weren't so difficult to get out with the Megagear half case installed. However, I think that's also attributable to Sony's design as well; the SD card is a bit tricky to remove even when the camera is naked! Very happy with this case.

Fine leather case for the Sony a6300.
Very good quality in materials and workmanship. Fits perfectly. The small door at the bottom permits access to the battery/memory card compartment without having to remove the entire case. Looks good, works well. Delivery was fast.

Seems like it will protect my camera!
Fits the camera very well, and does a good job protecing it from bumps while carrying around, without being in the way.

Looks good, but has a couple of issues
It looks nice and the quality of build seems good, but there are a couple of functional issues. The biggest one is that it makes impossible to flip the top of the screen out (like you would want to do if you wanted to hold the camera overhead). There is a clearance issue and the screen can't pivot. The second one is that the (at first) the right side bottom (over the trap door for the battery/card) did not fit snuggly. There was a gap between the right side of the bottom of the camera and the cover. I then sort of bent the cover bottom so that it would cinch up on the right, but then the battery door wouldn't open. I kept working with it and finally got it aligned so that the battery door will open, but it's still down in a recess now, so it makes it even harder to get the memory card in and out. I haven't decided for sure if these drawbacks are worth the positives of the aesthetics, the bigger grip, and the protection.
